How to unlock the Let the Good Times Roll! achievement in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Definitive Guide

This takes place during "Dead Man's Party" quest. After arriving at the wedding and completing the first 2-3 events Vlodi (Geralt) will dance with Shani into the barn. After the dance, Master Mirror will appear. Complete the rest of the activities before talking to him. Here is a list of all activities:
1 - Pig Herding
2 - Talk to old woman by tree
3 - Lake swim
4 - Gwent with halflings
5 - Find fire eater
6 - Drink with women outside
7 - Talk to young woman between buildings
8 - Climb ladder to barn and talk to Shani (might be confusing because the activity icon overlaps the quest icon on the map. You have to climb the ladder outside the barn for the activity)
9 - Drink with dwarfs inside
10 - Dance

Achievement pops once the quest is completed.

for some reason this did not unlock for me, however in another guide i've read the firebreather gets killed and geralt ends up juggling, in my game i got the firebreather back to the wedding safe, i'll do another run once i've finished the expansion and check if that was the issue

This is one of two achievements that have not unlocked for me so far. For me the game did not appear to recognise me talking with Shani in the loft, and a re-load of a previous save made no difference.

You can bring the firebreather back safe and still get the achievement. It unlocks after talking to the merchant of mirrors.

For everyone who has trouble getting this to unlock I had the same problem but found that you have to choose to give the speech after completing the rest of the tasks and then speaking to Master Mirror. Giving the speech counts as one of the wedding activities

Geralt won't dive in the lake swim when I press X. How do they add such glitches!

One other clarification for the loft part, you need to choose "Sit Down" in the back corner of the loft to talk, you can't just stand and talk to Shani. The "Sit Down" option only popped up if I stood in just the right spot, probably why I missed it my first attempt.

I can give you a positive vote after you say it doesn't pop until after the quest is over. For now, I voted negative because of the confusion.

Downvoted for not saying you have to sit down for #8, thankfully the guide below covered it in more detail so I was able to get it after doing it all again.

@KillerZ x Ace Yeah i believe you can, when starting a new save from the main menu, choose to just play the DLC. This will create a high enough character so you can just focus on enjoying the DLC without having to play through the whole main game again.

I'm convinced this achievement is just broken. I've just tried it for the third time and it just refuses to unlock. I've even started a fresh save just to play up to and complete this quest, following this guide, including giving the speech, and it still refuses to unlock.

Edit: After the 5th time, this FINALLY unlocked for me. As someone said above, the part where you climb up in the loft and chat with Shani seems to be a bit wonky, and I think this is where it was tripping up for me. The last time through, I made sure I stood there for a good 2 minutes after Vlod/Geralt and Shani said all their dialogue. Also for the people worried about the Gwent game, you can lose and get the achievement, you can even straight up forfeit and still get the achievement.

This took five attempts to figure out but you need to do this in order to get the achievement if you don't get it the first time during "Dead Mans Party":

1 - Pig Herding - (During this do not use your signs. Just chase the pigs with the dots on their backs into the Pens)
2 - Talk to old woman by tree
(Twice to be sure)
3 - Do the lake swim
4 - Play Gwent with the halflings
(You do not need to win this)
5 - Find the fire eater
(On your way to find him, ensure to pick up his cap and give this to him when you find him. Ensure to bring him back alive)
6 - Drink with the women outside
(Do this twice to be sure)
7 - Talk to the young woman between the buildings
(Do this twice to be sure)
8 - Climb ladder to barn and talk to Shani (There might be some confusion because the activity icon overlaps the quest icon on the map. You have to climb the ladder outside the barn for the activity. Also ensure to sit down and to stay there until the conversation finishes when he stands back up.)
9 - Drink with the dwarfs inside
10 - Dance
(I allowed him to dance for five minutes to be sure)

Talk to master mirror after this but don't skip the cut scene or any after this so it registers properly and ensure you do the speach and the next couple of cut scenes involving master mirror without skipping.
After all of the cut scenes the achievement should pop up! :D
Sorry this sounds so tedious but it glitched for me all the times before and this seemed to work.
GOOD LUCK!

Good guide +1 , just a little FYI, in the loft with Shani, use Witcher sense to find a rug in the corner with a “sit down” prompt, also while using Witcher sense I found a Gwent card lying on the floor near the sit down rug which may have been there due to me beating the halflings.

This achievement is obtainable during the quest entitled "Dead's Man Party" and is highly missable.

Upon reaching the outskirts of the village of Brunwich, you'll meet up with Shani. Together, you'll enter the village and she'll introduce you to the newlyweds. After speaking with the bride and groom, you're now free to roam around and partake in the festivities. There are exactly 10 activities that you'll want to partake in for this achievement. The 4 mandatory activities are indicated by standard, circular objective markers, while the 6 optional activities are represented by a yellow exclamation mark on the mini-map. Make sure to engage in all of the optional activities first, as they are missable if you try to do them after the mandatory events!

The first optional activity can be found inside the open barn. Simply stand in front of the stage and Geralt will begin to dance for a bit. The second is also located inside the barn, within an enclosed tent right behind you. Approach the men seated at the table within the tent and interact with the drinks. Now head towards the back of the barn, pass through the open doorway on your left, then climb the ladder to your right. On the second landing, interact with the pillow seats to spark a conversation with Shani. Then head back outside by taking the ladder, and to your right you'll be able to flirt with a woman wearing a purple dress. After she storms off, hitch a left and take a drink at the small table surrounded by two women. Finally, turn around and make your way across the village where you can flirt with another woman seated by the giant oak tree.

After you've participated in the 6 optional activities, go ahead and partake in the remaining festivities around the village. These include a mini-quest for the bride's parents, a Gwent match, a little game of "Slip In for a Slipper," and a hog-herding task. These 4 activities are much more involved than the previous batch, but none of them are missable.

Once you've experienced all 10 activities, speak with the Man of Glass inside the barn and after a few cutscenes, specifically once Vlodimir has been banished and you are advised to "go have fun with Shani," the achievement will finally unlock.

**Missable**

This is part of the main quest "Dead's Man Party".

There are 10 (4 mandatory and 6 optional) activities you will need to take part of during the wedding. After being introduced to the newlyweds, you are able to free roam and start the activities. Make sure you do the optional ones first. All activities are marked on the mini map for you.

Here's a list of the 6 optional activities:

  • Inside the open barn, stand in front of the stage and you will dance.
  • Go to the enclosed area with the drapery inside the barn and interact with the drinks at the table where the men are seated.
  • Go to the back of the barn and go through the small entrance way leading outside. Take a right and p the ladder to go to the second landing. Interact with the pillow to have a conversation with Shani.
  • Go down the ladder and to the right you will find a woman in a purple dress. Interact with her.
  • Take a left and go to a small table with two women standing around. Interact with the drink.
  • Turn around and go across to the other side to flirt with a old woman seated by a giant oak tree.

After you're done with the six optional activities, finish off the four remaining ones. Once completed, speak with the Man of Glass and the trophy will unlock shortly after.

At a wedding, before the final conversation, you must take part in all events.
The last one - the pillow - is on the second floor above the conversation area, the stairs are outside.

The trophy is given upon completion of the quest as soon as a friend leaves you. If they didn’t give it, something was missed.

Don't forget to climb with Shani to the second floor. Sit on the cushions and chat

The trophy can be easily missed!

Be sure to complete all tasks before talking to the Mirror Man.

One wedding quest, on the map is located near the Mirror Man, in fact on the second floor, look there too before you talk to him.

It's very easy to miss an achievement. Before talking to Gunther O'Neill in the tavern, be sure to take part in all the fun. Many people forget about pillows. We go up from the street along the stairs to the 2nd floor of the tavern and sit down on the pillows there
