How to unlock the A Sample of Parque Fernando's Finest achievement in theHunter: Call of the Wild - Definitive Guide
This achievement is earned by completing the mission “Parque Fernando Trophy Collection”.
The objective of the mission is to harvest a diamond rating of every animal on this map.
Note: This achievement can take tens of hours to complete, it’s down to luck on the spawning of the animals.
- If you are unsure on how to acquire a diamond rating, please check the guides on:
There are 7 animals you have to acquire a diamond rating on:

Note: The score for the Blackbuck is incorrect, a diamond rating is 28.3
This map was rather accurate for me:
Use the dots as a rough guide to where you will find need zones for certain animals.
I would highly recommend you buy the Treestand & Tripod DLC, the tripod is extremely useful for keeping hunting pressure low as well as having a height advantage.
The way to get diamonds to spawn is to hunt the males of each animal. Eventually a max level will spawn with a high likelihood of a diamond.
There are 2 main methods:
1) Hunt every male you see, killing regardless of the need zones (needs zones will move locations if the heat zones become too much)
- If you have high heat zones (bright purple) go to the top right corner of the map and head down the right side of the map killing as many Water Buffalo as possible. (The need zones are easy to find for these)
2) Hunt 2 (Up to 4 with the tripod) of the highest level males in each zone and then move to the next need zone.
Following either method once you’ve hunted atleast 2, backing out to the menu and loading back in will respawn the animals you’ve killed with new levels. If you don’t leave the game, new animals wont spawn until 7 in-games days have passed.
I followed method 2 as finding the new need zones can be painfully boring.
I would recommend focusing on one animal at a time. You may come across diamonds for other animals while hunting them. I managed to get the Red deer and Puma without having to farm them.
The main key is Patience. This is probably the hardest/longest achievement in the game. (Lower TA due to a glitch on map launch)
I got quite lucky as I managed to get most diamonds without much hassle, however the Blackbuck took me about 20 hours of farming to finally get a diamond.

Ok this chevo killed the game for me I'm done with this. Can't even find one legendary or middle animal and I kill every high male I can find. The spawn rate is too low in my opinion.

280 hours on the game and only 4 Diamonds across multiple maps. Damn, they expect me to get a Diamond for each species on the one map Glad I enjoy this game. Good guide, thumbs up.
