How to unlock the Persistence Is Futile achievement in theHunter: Call of the Wild - Definitive Guide

You can just walk up to any track you see and press X on it 100 times and the achievement will pop if you don't feel like tracking a deer forever.

If you wish to do it the hard way, just follow the tracks while sprinting so you scare the deer off whenever you get near it and you will have an infinite amount of tracks for you to find.

Does this trick still work? I just tried this on the first deer on the North American reserve, clicking X for a couple of minutes on the same track, and the achievement didn't pop.

Then again, I'm having hard time popping any other achievement in this game in general, so it might just be me.

Answering myself: the achievement isn’t glitched, but I had to do this legit, tracking one animal from one set of tracks to another. It’s not a big deal, and comes naturally, but smashing X while standing still at some tracks won’t cut it.

Weird it worked for the 50 but not the 100..

Spamming examine on a single track is still working. Popped for 50 & 100.

By default, an animal's tracks will be highlighted on the ground. Interact with one of the tracks to begin tracking an animal. The animal's tracks that you are currently tracking will be highlighted in a different color. Keep following these tracks, interacting with each one, and you will eventually get this achievement.
