A very simple way to do this is in chapter 3 in the brothel. You will come very early in the mission to a room with an opium tank with 2 ladies in it. You will know you are in the right room as Garret will make a comment about overloading it. Pick the door upstairs and make your way around to the panel in the back. Use the wire cutters on it. Go back to the front and hit the switch next to the opium tank overloading it. Achievement will pop almost instantly even if you have never used the environment before. 10 plus knockouts.

*If your playing on Master Difficulty you will fail immediately so make sure you save your game before hand.

I also confirm this works perfectly. I did it by accident, not knowing it was an achievement when on this level. Should get over 20 knockouts (roughly) so almost guaranteed for it to net you the cheevo.

Must have been patched. Did not work for me. Went from 77 knockouts to 101 and achievement didnt pop.

Well nevermind.... The weirdest thing just happened. Loaded up Plants Vs Zombies (digital) and three achievements popped for this game (2 days later mind you). This one, 15+ hour one and picking 100 pockets popped. Which i went back to get and they never popped (which i thought they may not since i already beat it, than hit continue and it started the lvl over with). Very odd. Anyways can confirm it still works post patch.

This works, even while playing with the rule that you can't knock out or kill anyone. You will fail as soon as you pull the lever, but the achievement will pop when you are on the 'Chapter Failed' screen.

I can confirm what Weezleram said, although I needed to try twice before the achievement popped. I think if you flick off the Failed screen too quickly it doesn't pop.

As a separate issue, don't save next to the switch. When you reload the two courtesans are at the top of the stairs heading down and it's easy to get trapped. Save somewhere dark and safe.

Add me to the list of had to do it twice. First time pulled lever and nothing happened. Reloaded save pulled it again and it unlocked pretty much instantly.

Make sure you have the wire cutters before the Brothel Mission, Chapter 3, and activate the opium trap. That's what I did and it popped immediately.

Here's my extended version on how to get to the box mentioned above (from the comments, as requested):

When you enter the main area of the brothel it's in the room to the right. You'll see a lovely woman trying to seduce a guard on the upper level. Once the guard walks away walk over to that back corner and there's a door you can open. Follow the linear path that's behind this door and you'll find the box you can use the wire cutters on.

It is kinda dark where the box is, so using focus might help.

Once you've cut the wires, exit back the way you came. There are 2 or 3 closets outside the door to this area. Enter one of them to save your game, then jump over the ledge trying to stay in the darkness. There's a lever to the right of the opium pump. If you've cut the wires then pulling this lever will knock everyone in the level out.

So building off of Wright's solution, which was heading in the wright (ahah pun) direction, the opium dispenser is located in the basement which is out of the way, and can easily be missed. And like i said, VIDEO. Please note however if you do activate the dispenser it will fail you if you are on MASTER difficulty or are on custom difficulty with no kills or takedowns. Because Garrett feels bad for making people overdose, and so should you, opium is bad. Stay in school.

Occasionally within each chapter, there will be objects in the environment that you can interact with to kill or takedown a guard. These objects come in the form of gas pipes that you can leak with a blunt arrow and then lighting it on fire with a fire arrow, or using explosive barrels against enemies in the later chapters. However to save yourself some time in looking for these objects, you can take down 10+ enemies at once and earn this trophy in Chapter 3. You will need to have purchased a pair of wirecutters before you can attempt this trophy.

Play through the chapter until you make your way into the House of Blossoms brothel. Whereas normally you would simply try and make your way to the second floor by sneaking by/taking down/or killing any guards you pass by, there is actually a much simpler method in getting past this section. It involves you rigging the brothel's opium machine to knock out everyone in the building. To do that, once you've made your way inside, immediately head to the right going east, and you'll come to the brothel's basement. Wait for the guard to walk away and the two prostitutes to head downstairs to where the machine is, then make your way across to the back while staying on the upper level to a door in which you'll have to pick. Pick it open it, drop down, and go underneath to reach a control box that you can disarm with your wirecutters. Make your way back to where the two lady workers are, wait for them to finish conversing and leave, then pull the lever by the machine to overheat it. Everyone in the brothel will be knocked out unconscious and you'll be rewarded with the trophy.

Enviromental kills are performed not by weapons, rather by clever use of your sorrounding (e. g. Droping chandelier on someone's head).
An easy method for competing this achievement is to start chapter 3 "Dirty Secrets" (You will need wire cutter tool), after reaching the brothel follow the first blossom you see, she will go to right door and make out with a guard, go straight when they split up and lockpick the door, drop down and follow the vent, you should be now behind the furnace, locate the "mechanism box" and cut the wire, backtrack to the front of the furnace where blossoms are coocking opium. On the right side is the lever, when you pull it the furnace explodes and everyone in the brothel gets high and passes out except you (Garret is expirienced in this kind of stuff rock). This gives you 20+ knockouts, wich is more than enough.

There is a really easy way to obtain this achievement during Chapter 3, Dirty Secrets, before you begin you must purchase the wire cutters. Now progress through the beginning of the Chapter until you reach The House of Blossoms proper. When you walk through the first drape directly in front of you will be a hostess and she will start to walk forward as soon as you enter. Follow her to the opposite side of the room, being careful to avoid being seen by guards, and when she gets to the other side of the room she will go through a doorway and start flirting with a guard.

Leave them be for a minute or two and the guard will eventually leave. Head inside this room, to your left in the center of the room on the lower level is a large opium dispensing contraption that Garret will comment on. Ignore that for now and instead go forward to the other side of the room and you will find a door that needs to be picked. Once you are inside this room look to your left to see a hole in the floor, drop down the hole and follow the crawl space around to the right. You will now be behind the opium machine, to your left on the wall is a trap panel you need to disarm using the wire cutters, once done backtrack back up to the door you picked.

Head through the door way to the small wall directly in front of you, look down into the room. Below you, on the right of the machine if you were looking straight at it is a lever. There may be a couple of ladies here milling around the machine but don't worry about them. Hop over the wall and drop down, head for the lever and flip it. This will release an opium haze into the entire brothel, knocking everyone out and unlocking the achievement.

Chapter 3. Need wire cutters!

In the brothel there will be something like a kitchen. Two women are spinning on it. Opium is butted...

Go to the back room, there will be a secret passage in it. You find yourself behind a large vat of this opium. You cut the wire with wire cutters and the vat breaks.

After that, return to your aunts and turn on the large switch on the right. Don't worry whether you will be noticed or not. Because with a switch you release poisonous gas throughout the brothel. Everyone will quickly die... The mission, of course, will fail, but the trophy will drop out instantly, since there are many more than 10 people in the brothel.

Third Chapter.
Actually, the whole action takes place after you get into the brothel itself.

More than 10 people need to be poisoned with opiates.

Can be supplemented

IMPORTANT before starting the third chapter (house of flowers) save up and don’t forget to buy wire cutters from the inventory seller in the tavern where Basso’s office is!
