How to unlock the Old Habits Die Hard achievement in Thief - Definitive Guide

For this achievement, you must find all 5 of the portrait pictures that are hidden within the Asylum during Chapter 5: The Forsaken. You will be able to roam the first areas of the Asylum without any enemies, so take your time and pick up the 5 pieces of loot shown in the video:


Note: The level can be replayed by visiting the docks near The Siren's Rest at the bottom of the map.

my last one is completly diifernet from yours, there's a desk in the way and when i use the red key theres still no grate to unscrew. any reason for this?

Did this today and the achievement did not pop. Had to replay a 2nd time for it to pop.

For this Achievement you need to find all five Golden Pocket Portraits in Chapter 5: The Forsaken. You find the first one at 2:44, the 2nd one 3:14, the 3th one at 4:27, the 4th at 4:40 and the last one at 5:06

Here is a video with a detailed walk through of where the stashes are hidden in Moira Asylum. This mission is still pretty eerie for me.

This achievement is obtained during Chapter 5. Hidden throughout the first half of the asylum are 5 loot stashes, however there is nothing to differentiate them from regular loot. Please see the video below to see exactly where all five are hidden.

This trophy can be earned in Chapter 5. There will be five golden pocket portrait loot that you will need to collect for this trophy. All five loot reside within the men's/women's ward area, with most of them hidden on the vents and walkways above the hallways. If you are going for 100% loot in this level, you will have to pick these up.

Chapter 5. Les Miserables.

The trophy is obtained at the very beginning of the task, after you arrive by boat at Moira's mental hospital.

Actually, in the hospital itself you need to find 5 pocket portraits.

Not far from the part of the medallions with portraits, there will be a key to the women's section, so you will still be moving in the right direction. The rest of the portraits are in this section.

Buy rope arrows before the mission.
