How to unlock the Diary: Bond for life achievement in This War of Mine: Final Cut - Definitive Guide

This is for growing a bond between an adult and a child by having them interact with each other everyday.
There's a few ways to go about this, but what I have below is how I managed to unlock the achievement.
Select My own scenario.
Choose 2 adults and 1 child (must select the child alone, not one with an adult added)
Days until ceasefire: 20 (Shouldn't matter)
Intensity of the conflict: low
Winter comes: never
From day 1, there should be a talk bubble above the kid's head. Just take one of the adults and talk to the kid every day until the achievement pops. From my understanding, this can take a random set of days. I used Arica as the designated adult for the kid to talk to everyday and the kid eventually ran up to her and called her auntie. My achievement popped on day 9.
Note: Not sure if you need 2 adults. I just used 1 adult to scavenge while the other stayed and guarded. Also, you might be able to do an Adult + 1 child, but that didn't seem to work for me as I was on day 15 and nothing was happening.
