How to unlock the Three Times Around achievement in Three Fourths Home: Extended Edition - Definitive Guide

This require walking a certain amount of distance during the epilogue. As the name suggests, it will take about three playthroughs of the epilogue to unlock. Make sure that you walk with cn_RT during the entire epilogue.

The achievement will pop after completing the epilogue after walking far enough in total.

I recommend following the full path through the epilogue first to unlock Until Next Time in Three Fourths Home: Extended Edition (easy enough, just select the first response every time), then use the "Wrong Bus" path twice as it is slightly shorter (see my solution here: Solution for Wrong Bus In Three Fourths Home: Extended Edition).

This definitely wasn't the way to unlock it for me. Took until my 5th run through the epilogue to get it.

When it did unlock, it was my 3rd full completion of it (getting the right bus), my third loop around the background, and my third time being stopped by the game in order for a bus to drive past.

I have no idea which 3rd event triggered the achievement to unlock, though.

You don't have to finish the epilogue, I just started walking without going through the conversation and just left my controller there for like 15 minuts while pressing in cn_RT then went to options to save and quit the game. The achievement progress would rise with 33% after quiting and then I did it again, unlocking the achievement after quiting the 3th time.

Hmm that's interesting! I'll give that a test run.

I just did the Canon achievement, the full path, and then the wrong bus achievement - both the Wrong Bus achievement and this one popped together

Also interesting. I did a little testing for the 20 miles achievement, and it seems to take into account partial plays - I had one regular playthrough (75% of the 20 miles achievement), then played another run and quit as soon as the phone was handed over to your Dad, and the achievement went up to about 90%. I did another short run and quit and it popped. I'm wondering if this achievement is based on the distance walked?

I did the full epilogue once, actually paying attention, and got 66%. Probably is distance walked, just like with the driving. Progress is not saved until you either finish or save and quit.

I did the epilogue, got 33%. Did it a 2nd time, just rubber-banded the RT and let her walk until the controller disconnected, then kept walking and mashing A + B, and unlocked this upon getting on the last bus at the end. Just my two-cents, haha.

I did Canon, followed by Wrong Bus, without ever walking. Then, I did the right bus run, rubber-banding cn_RT, and spamming the dialogue buttons throughout. Achievement unlocked after just one run, together with the Epilogue completion achievement.

I didn't have any progress on this even after 3 epilogue completions. Which was weird.

On my fourth attempt I decided to just walk forever without progressing the phone conversation at all. just started it up and walked to the right. After 5 mins or so I Saved and quit out. It jumped to 33%. Did that one more time (without even progressing the chat) and after saving and quitting it jumped up to Complete.

Very weird. This game has a few known oddities with the achievements so your experience doesn't particularly surprise me, but it's definitely weird.

Strange little achievement isn't it. At least new players will have plenty of things to try lol.

I was doing some test runs the other day for the Wrong Bus solution and watching the achievement app.

The percentage started at 33% as I'd already run through the full epilogue once.

I did one run of the Wrong Bus path without walking at all, and the percentage didn't go up.

I did another run walking the entire time until the point where you finish the Wrong Bus path and the percentage went up.

I then did a another run of Wrong Bus while walking and unlocked this achievement.

I'm not sure why it didn't work for you.

Note that you need to keep walking even after the game stops you from proceeding for a bus. Once the dialogue moves on and the bus leaves, you need to keep walking after that. There will be three pauses for busses like this before the final one. The third one is where you can take the Wrong Bus.

I actually earned this achievement on my second walk in the Epilogue

Go past the third bus and continue talking on the phone, this will result in a really long walk before the fourth bus pulls up. Your Mom tells you to get on the fourth bus because you've been out in the cold so long.

On the second Walk, I took the third bus and both this achievement and the wrong bus achievement popped

Saves an excruciating third walk.

Two full walks of the epilogue, basically walking until your mum gets pissed off with you and tells you to get on the bus, and the achievement should pop.

I unlocked this achievement similar to the distance that has to be driven. It can be unlocked in one playtrough of the epilogue. Just keep walking and take your time with answering to the mum, I also just walked around three minutes straight without answering to make sure the achievement pops.

During the epilogue, hold  while simultaneously pressing  and  to skip through dialogue and to walk all the way to the far right of the level. After getting on the bus the epilogue ends and the achievement unlocks.
