How to unlock the Until Next Time achievement in Three Fourths Home: Extended Edition - Definitive Guide

Fairly straightforward achievement, i got it on my first play through on the epilogue.

I started by calling mum and i constantly walked right the entire epilogue.

Keep going through the dialogue and eventually you will come to a point where your mum asks if everything is okay with you ( Just after the conversations about your job i believe.

You will get 3 dialogue options that explain problems you are having with 3 of your friends. go through ALL of the dialogue options. Not sure this is necessary i just done it to be safe and got the achievement, so its worth the extra minute of pressing cn_A

Shortly after this i got in an argument with mum where there was nothing i could do about it but this didn't seem to make a difference to me as by the end of it as it sorted itself out.

Eventually you will come to the last bus stop after passing 3 previous ones. this will be the bus your supposed to get in (404) the dialogue options should automatically come up to allow you to hang up on your mum.

The achievement should unlock shortly after going in the bus.

Worked for me. Handydarkness, check to see if it popped silently, the Xbox One has a habit of not visually or audibly alerting you.

This isn't as simple to get as it sounds.

I finished the epilogue four times before I got this.

You have to finish the conversation on a positive, and get on the correct bus.

Avoid any answers if possible with [ ] . If you go negative the screen shakes, it goes darker and trees fall down.

I actually had a massive argument the time I got it, but we recovered it Into a positive, so you can come back from arguments.

Try to tell her you worked at the museum, somesta is tough and your friends are being distant.

This might take a few retries to get.

Did you have to finish up without any confrontational choices? I've played through this about ten times. I have every other achievement though. Did you have to let the credits roll or is there something I'm missing. Exact choices would of been great.

I don't know my exact choices.

But I was pretty clear in the solution. If the screen goes black, you will not get it.

Any answer that says [xxx] will turn the screen black.

But gonna delete this as people already voting negative, so you guys can struggle.

I'm pretty sure that if you just select the top choice every time you will unlock this.

I tried that. I fear it may be glitched on me.

I can confirm you can just select the first option every time and it works.

I ended up hitting the first choice every time and when bus 404 came I got on the bus and redid the epilogue again (my third time) and at the start I selected "just wait" then the bus came and I got on it and the achievement popped

Weird. Definitely a candidate for the buggy flag then.

This is starting to annoy me beyond comprehension. The best part is I have to replay the whole story just to access the epilogue. Even on the game leader board it say's I've unlocked 100%. angry

Delete your save data and try it again? You won't be losing anything...

Any luck on getting this achievement debugged? I got everything but this. Even the achievement for doing everything (including the epilogue). Stupid game.

Don't delete it; there's only a single negative vote.

The solution offers good information and perspective for others.

I can't offer exact text as there are hundreds of ways the conversation can go.

To be sure, if your screen goes black and a tree falls down, restart. As I said, it took me four tries.

However, on my go I went black and I was right at the end and I carried on. Had a huge argument with my mum and then we made up, the screen went white and the correct 404 bus came. So don't give up.

Play through the epilogue however you wish (just don't be a jerk); make sure the bus you get on is the 404 bus (you can make this a shorter wait by insisting "that's not how buses work" when your mother suggests trying a different bus). The trophy will pop when the credits begin to roll.

The quickest method is to hold  while simultaneously pressing  and  to skip through dialogue and to walk all the way to the far right of the level. After getting on the bus the epilogue ends and the Achievement unlocks.

Note: This should also unlock "Three Times Around."
