How to unlock the Wrong Bus achievement in Three Fourths Home: Extended Edition - Definitive Guide

You get this achievement during the epilogue.

Hold cn_RT to walk and keep hammering cn_A+cn_X together to skip through the dialogue selecting the first option every time.

Keep doing this until you have a conversation about how you're having trouble with your teacher in school.
Shortly after this your Mom will say "Then let's talk through it".
Select "Me and Jessie are having problems".
Skip a little more until your Mom says "So that's what's been getting to you? Or is there more?".
Select "Isn't that enough?", and then "That about sums it up. Honestly".
Keep skipping and a bus stop will appear. At this point walk back to it with cn_LT.
Keep skipping and your Mom will end the conversation shortly afterward and tell you to get on the bus.

Achievement unlocked! Takes about 6 minutes from start to pop.

If you chose to walk as I've suggested, this will also make this playthrough count towards
Three Fourths Home: Extended EditionThree Times AroundThe Three Times Around achievement in Three Fourths Home: Extended Edition worth 80 pointsTake a walk.

Really great solution buddy! I am glad that I looked at this. The video guide said to follow his exactly from beginning to end. This saved a lot of time.

in add the information above: I try this step conversation until the end. And it works for me. I hope you like guys.

Start playing in the Epilogue.
Go ahead and press the answer choices

[call mom]
Hey Mom. It's me.
Yeah, sorry...
Um... I'm really sorry?
You too, Mom.
I don't know. I just wanted to.
I'm serious. I just wanted to talk.
Yeah, i'm waiting for my bus.
I'm used to it.
No...
Mom. It's expensive.
There was more wrong than they thought.
It'll cost over a grand.
How would i get the car to Nebraska?
Let me know what he says.
It's the 404.
That's not how the buses work, Mom.
I didn't say that it was bad advice...
How many times do i have to say i'm sorry?
Great...
I've been really busy...
Every time i was going to, something came up.
That's part of it.
The coffee shop? Yep.
It's all right, i guess.
What's wrong with your job?
But, i mean, it's fun, isn't it?
So i've heard.
You'd be surprised.
And then some.
I'm not sure yet.
Of course i am.
I could drive.
[wait.. was it fixed?]
[i really can't remember]
I probably should fly.
Yep.
Just a couple more weeks.
It's been a tough semester.
My grades are terrible.
Yeah, i'm fine, it's just.. the classes i'm taking are difficult.
It turns out the teacher hates me.
Believe me, she does.
She's always criticizing my work.
No, not just mine.
That doesn't explain my grade.
She wants me to be more daring.
Like, pushing the boundaries.
Um... THE BOUNDARIES, you know?
I have no idea.
I don't want to do that.
I know i can do what she want.
I'm working on it.
I'm meeting with my teacher on Monday.
[no]
[believe me, i know]
it has to be great if i'm going to pass.
[my professor wasn't too happy with the project]
[it was terrible]
[i had no idea what i was doing]
[i could have done better]
[i sold the camera]
[maybe]
What's with all of the questions, Mom?
[you really wouldn't give me a break, would you?]
[the tutor didn't work out]
[it wasn't like i wanted it to happen]
[can we move on?]
[there was a lot more going on than you knew]
[...okay]
I feel like i'm alone here.
Jessie and i are having problems.
She's been distant.
I see her plenty.
She's never home.
Maybe?
Exactly. She doesn't tell me.
I don't want to come off as nosy.
I don't think she's up to anything.
I don't think i'm happy.
Isn't that enough?
That about sums it up. Honestly.
(*Stay on the ground! Now go to the bench.*)
I'm being insufferable.
[what?]
[for what?]
[i just want to talk to you]
[what would that be?]
(*The bus pulled up!*)
[that's not my bus]
[why are you talking like that?]
[please, just be clear with me]
[i dont want to.]
Okay, okay. I will.
I'll try.
[hang up]

When the epilogue begins call your mom and then pick the dialogue choices that are more argumentative. Tell her that your bus is 404. Then agree with her that it does not matter what bus you get on.

The bus that I got on was 182 however you can get on any numbered bus that pulls up. and is the third bus. It comes while you are talking About your friends. Choose that you don't have friends, talk about Hannah and Jessie and then pick that about sums it up. You will argue with your mom about the bus and then you can get on.

Near the start of the epilogue, your mother will ask you what bus you are waiting for - you will answer "the 404." Your mother will suggest that you get on some other bus to stay out of the cold. Reply with "They all go in the same direction," then proceed to be a miserable daughter. Picking responses in brackets is usually a good bet. Eventually a bus that isn't the 404 will pull up, and your mother will tell you to get on it. Unlike the more positive playthrough, you will not have the option to skip getting on the bus.

If you are worried about dialogue choices, follow russ199410's text walkthrough HERE

Begin the epilogue, select [call mom] and when given the dialogue option, tell your mom your bus is number 404 and agree with her that it doesn’t matter if you just get on a different bus. Stay as the bus stop and steer the conversation as negative as possible by selecting the more argumentative dialogue option.

Some time will pass and a bus that is not 404 will arrive and your mom will tell you to just get on it and hang up. Get on the bus, hang up and the achievement will unlock.
