How to unlock the A Helping Hand achievement in Throne Together - Definitive Guide

First, this is a very simple achievement if you have 5 Facebook friends with LIVE accounts that play Throne Together. In this case, just ask them for a life and when you receive a life from the 5th different friend, it will pop.

If that is not your case, just create 5 facebook dummy accounts (you will need 5 different emails) and be friends with them. In order to send the life back, you will have to play with that account.

The problem is that if you connect your live account to your facebook account, you can't switch the later. To circumvent this problem, create a local win8 account and play the game without live connection, you can still link your facebook account and there is no binding. So you can switch freely.

It seems this achievement is now unobtainable, according to MetalCamp906758. Facebook integration seems to not be working anymore. If someone manages to unlock it, please post a comment.

Thanks for the info AP EJC. My WP8 apparently is a bit finicky and doesn't like to help out fellow gamers. I will try it in Win8 tomorrow.

I can't seem to get anything to happen on WP8 either. I sent requests but haven't gotten anything back. Also have not received any requests.

I see 10 items in the game, both requests and gifts. The game would not let me accept them though. I select all and accept but nothing happens. I tried to waste the 5 lives I have first to see if that makes a difference, but that doesn't work either.

I gave up on this. I keep getting the "Your Facebook account is already linked to a different Xbox live account. Signing you out of Facebook." error. I've uninstalled, re-installed, removed the app from my Facebook account but nothing works. Sorry to the people waiting on lives from me.

@AP E JC: it still works with creating 5 local accounts. when asked for a microsoft account to install throne together in the store, i selected “Sign into each app separately" and put in a microsoft account credentials.

looks like i have to use up all 5 lives before accepting the new 5 lives

How do you actually send the life on Facebook? I see the request, but when I click on it it takes me to an Ad page for Throne together so I can "like" the game.

I see the lives on the win8 version, but I can't accept them. I tick all the boxes to select them, confirm I want to accept them, and then nothing happens....
On wp I can't even see received gifts...

It finally worked for me today. Thanks guys for sending the lives. It also allowed me to send the lives to you, so hopefully you'll get the achievement too. This only unlocked it on Win8. I still have not gotten in to work on WP8. So I will be sending another bath of requests.

It only let me sign into FB once and now the sign in button won't work...
Occasionally it shows that I have one pending life to accept even though I'm not logged into FB but when I try to claim it it doesn't do anything...
Any ideas? I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling but nothing has worked

this achievement is unobtainable because the integration of facebook does not work, I wanted to start it, luckily probe that part and definitely not connect to facebook, it throws an error.
they should change the flag to the achievement to warn the players roll

Definitely this achievement can no longer be obtained by some failure in the integration with Facebook, I tried to connect today and doing so throws an error on the screen that does not allow to continue. I also consider the idea of ​​updating the flag for this achievement and warn the players.
analyzing the version of W8 a bit I see that this became unobtainable after December of 2017, the last ones that unlocked it rotate by such date.
It is already an old game so I doubt its repair although nothing is impossible. headspin

Yes, B0ND, unfortunately that seems to be the case. I also doubt they will fix one day. They updated the game once, only to make it harder.
