How to unlock the Gargling achievement in Throne Together - Definitive Guide

To turn gargoyles into fountains they need to be placed standing up, atop a bridge above water (they do not have to touch the water although they can do) and be connected via other bricks to the throne.
However they do not need to be completely above water; as long as part of it is, it is enough. In other words, given they are two squares large, as long as half of it is above water it will count.

The first and best level for this is Level #38 so come back to it if you still need some or want to get it done asap.
Build your bridge in a round inverted U shape as much as possible and avoid sharp corners underneath. With a good bridge you can put 4 gargoyles at once but stick to 2 if you want to be safe.
If you try to place more than two, connect your bridge to the throne only after you've placed the gargoyles, as there is otherwise a chance the game ends just as you do.

This requires buying the first set of levels I assume?

You can just change the date for the challenges...so no need to wait either

It requires unlocking two more sets but real world money is not required as you can do challenges to unlock them for free. Just need to be patient as 3 challenges are needed for each unlock and you need to wait 24h after each before you can do the next. Another way is having facebook friends sending you 'keys', again needing 3 for each unlock.

Just wanted to add that this all needs to be in one sitting just like the blueprints and torch achievements.

Do you need to pass the level for it to count. I've done this in one sitting, I.e. Did not close out the game waiting for lives . I have done at least 25 nothing unlocked.

Hi MidgetFury, sorry I was away with no internet. I can't be sure as I never failed that level but you pretty much have to complete it for the gargoyles to become fountains on #38 anyway. Try again but make sure you win the level and the gargoyles are definitely spitting water out of their mouth. If they don't, they are not in the right place and don't count.

how do you beat this level every time, when the blocks that come are random?

They are random but the river is narrow so you don't need specific tiles to make a bridge. Even flat ones will do but if that's all you get, stack them a bit vertically so that you can make the inverted U shape and consolidate the embankments (if you'd go for a flat bridge it'd break quickly once you'd put the gargoyles on it).

I prefer Level 47 better since you don't really have to deal with water that much or the bridge like in level 38. Just connect the bricks along the edges and I could have 6 gargoyles by the end of the level.

Remember not to connect any piece that has the potential to brick them all together, so you can have more chance to add more gargoyles. I usually have 3-4 gargoyles by this time. Discard a few bricks if you don't see any gargoyle coming out and remember to spare at least 2-3 last brick just in case no more gargoyle is coming out so you can finish the level and get counted in one sitting. I only had to do it 5 times

See below some examples how i set up the gargoyle
