How to unlock the Living Legend achievement in Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales - Definitive Guide

Achievement should unlock after unlocking all other Achievements. As at the time of posting, the Achievement appears to be bugged, as I have obtained all other Achievements but progress shows only 92% completion.

As of 18/02/2019, the achievement is now patched.

Yeesh, these faux-platinums always bug out on Xbox. Be sure to place a bug report on the official Gwent website. Hopefully CDPR will fix this with the next patch.

I have logged it in every available place including on Play Gwent. It’s a shame, because there is a lot of great stuff about the game, but it is probably the most broken game I have ever seen released that doesn’t claim to be in early access or beta.

Good man!

I agreed. The voice acting, story, and overall design are great. However, the terrible performance is unexcusable. Especially considering the game was delayed for console users. Repeated crashes and buggy achievements too.

The golden chests stat also seems to be bugged on my save, necessitating another playthrough just for that. The release notes even claim this was fixed from the original PC release. Apparently not.

This was absolutely rushed out for the Christmas season and Artifact. Although, I've definitely seen buggier releases...

@ HangmanK7 Doesn't feel like it is happening anytime soon. I was the first person on the site to complete the game, but doubt I will ever get that recognised as, if it is ever patched, it will probably just go to whoever turns on their Xbox first :(

Yup, funny story. I open the game, get the achievement. Then it crashes. Open again, asks for update. 🙄

I got all other achievements at first walkthrough, and this stop at 97%.
But then I perfectly beat the chapter 1 again, this achievement unlock.

I cannot believe they rushed a game that had such a crap glitch in it, hopefully they sort this soon because I have been forced to do a chest run now and I don't want to run through it until I know this will unlock as well.

This unlocked about five hours after popping my last acheievement that should've triggered this unlock but didn't show as unlocked until later the next day. Just a heads up in case anyone else has this happen to them. Just give it time and it might unlock on its own.

If you missed any plot-related on the first playthrough - start a new one on easy difficulty, in any battle you can press "Options - (give up) - (skip the battle)". This way the battle is considered won, and in this way you can run through the entire game in an hour and a half.

Don't skip battles (this feature is only available on easy difficulty) that are needed for trophies. For example, Pure Abomination (kill the manticore), Gvaern Ichaer (defeat Gernihora) and others similar.
If you miss, your victory will be counted, but you will not be given a trophy.
