How to unlock the Level 9 S Rank achievement in Thumper - Definitive Guide

The very last level will not show your score on-screen until the game ends, after which point you won’t be allowed to re-load checkpoints if your rank ends up being below S.

To check your ranking before the entire game ends, keep checking the menu as you see the light appear in front of you after you beat the final boss. Your rank for the last level will be displayed on the checkpoints at some point before you are shown the credits.

Following the same techniques listed above, getting to the final stages of this level shouldn’t prove too difficult. However, the last 3 sub-levels are extremely difficult and also introduce a new mechanic that is difficult enough to beat, let alone S rank. For this final mechanic, the first 3 stages of the final boss should be fine to get past after a few tries; however, the final stage will require you to time your hits perfectly else you will have to restart.
