How to unlock the Santa Express achievement in Ticket to Ride: Classic Edition - Definitive Guide

Pretty self-explanatory from the description. To earn this achievement, you have to complete the section from Murmansk to Lieksa. The only issue with this is that it takes 9 train cars of the same color to complete the section and you have to win the game as well. This section is grey, so you can collect any color to claim it.
As with most Ticket to Ride achievements, picking favorable initial destination tickets is the key to winning this. I picked three that were linked together. Because you'll likely be drawing a ton of cards until you get 9 of the same color, a great strategy is to block the AI from completing their routes. I played against one Marg Loughbot and concentrated on blocking her routes, while slowly completing mine and drawing cards to get 9 of the same color. One suggestion is to choose to collect a color the AI is NOT picking when it is their turn. This makes it considerably easier to collect the 9 you need.
You should get this in 1 or 2 tries!
