How to unlock the The Hundred Days achievement in Ticket to Ride: Classic Edition - Definitive Guide
As stated by A1337Haxor in this user's solution, the in-game description is much more accurate than the one provided by Xbox (and TA for that matter). You will have to connect these cities in order:
- Corsica (the white ferry icons in the southern sea)
- Nice
- Grenoble
- Lyon
- Paris
Try picking your destination tickets at the beginning of the game that ideally are helpful towards the route needed for this achievement. This also gives a bigger chance that your opponent(s) will not block your route towards Paris. I was lucky enough to start the game with Dijon - Lille, Marseille - Suisse and the best one: Nice - Paris.
Playing against one single C. Huntingbot for this achievement turned out not being very difficult. After completing the route needed for this achievement and the (minimum of) 3 destination tickets you start the game with, feel free to make your opponent(s) life miserable. Set all colours around their railways in the same colour or simply place your trains where you think your opponent(s) will need a connection. Or if you feel lucky, draw a new destination ticket and make sure you get both the bonus for the most cities connected and the longest railway network.
In my achievement-winning game, my yellow railway network connected 7 destination tickets which gave me a total of 149 points. This was much more than my opponent C. Huntingbot who only finished 2 out of 3 destination tickets and scored 78 points. As a visual aid, this is the map after of my achievement-winning game:

The game's description of this achievement is more accurate than TA's & Xbox's:
The Hundred Days: Win a game while following the same path as Napoleon on his return from exile on the island of Elba. Connect Corsica, Nice, Grenoble, Lyon and Paris, in that order. (Single-player only)
Corsica is Corse, any of the three ferry terminals in the southern ocean area.
