Ticket to Ride: Classic Edition

For this achievement, you want to end the game having more points than your opponent(s) while only having completed long destination tickets.

In the beginning of the game when you can pick the destination tickets you want to start playing the game with, you get the option to choose between any ratio of short and long destination tickets. I’d suggest choosing between 4 long destination tickets, as you cannot finish the short tickets while also meeting the requirements needed for this achievement.

It is advised to pick your destination tickets to be close to each other and preferably have overlapping parts. As an example, this were the long destination tickets I played the game with when I was awarded the achievement:

- Danemark to Österrreich
- Danemark to Lindau

This is not a very difficult achievement, simply pick your long destination tickets at the start and play the game the best you can. I personally was awarded this achievement when primarily focussing on the ‘Berlin Traveller’ achievement.

At the end of my achievement-winning game, my yellow railway network ended up scoring 119 points while finishing 2 out of 2 long destination tickets, while my opponent managed to score 104 points and finishing 2 out of 2 (short) destination tickets.
