How to unlock the She's got a Ticket to Ride achievement in Ticket to Ride: Classic Edition - Definitive Guide
The description of this achievement should be clear enough. You will have to finish a game while scoring more points than your opponent(s), while connecting Liverpool, London, Southampton and New York, in that order.
If you complete the necessary route for this achievement and you have not purchased the ‘Propeller’ technology card at the end of the game, you will also unlock this achievement if you did not have it unlocked already:
It is a good thing to notice when starting the game that you can meet the requirements for this achievement without having to purchase a technology card. The route from Liverpool, via London to Southampton is all in the starting region of England and by taking the simplest pieces of track you only use 1 and 2-piece connections between cities. Also for the 10-piece track to New York you do not need additional technologies. If it matches your style of playing this game, feel free to purchase the technology card ‘Boiler Lagging’ before placing any of your trains.
The route required for this achievement costs at least 17 trains, leaving you with only 35 - 17 = 18 trains to finish your destination tickets. Take note that your last piece of railway will cost you at least 7 matching colour traincards and 3 locomotives. You are free to replace any of them with another locomotive, costing you 4 random traincards from your hand.
In my achievement-winning game I was playing against just one opponent being Jane Stanbot (without any particular reason). I only chose not to play against C. Huntingbot as I did not want the small pieces of railway between Liverpool and London to be blocked before I would reach them.
As there are a lot of different ways of placing your last 18 trains, it is not possible to write a step-by-step-guide on how to unlock this achievement as you can do a lot with your remaining turns. Besides, the 10-piece route will award you 40 points, so it will not be very difficult on staying ahead of your opponent(s). In case someone is interested in my process, feel free to read it hidden in the spoiler-tags underneath:
