How to unlock the No Handouts Please achievement in Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 13 - Definitive Guide
Firstly, having no wind, direct head wind or tail wind seems to help, as there is no need to move the shot direction. I just left it where it was. I got mine using the 5 wood, into a 12mph head wind.
You'll notice when you swing, above and below the ball on the left hand side, you get comments - my top one said slow (tempo?), and the bottom one said perfect. With those it landed about 10ft short, hit the flag and went in - you will need a bit of luck with this.
Also it took me probably 45 minutes to get this, so a lot of trial and error. Just keep practising and swinging at the same speed, so you can get consistent with your shots. Don't forget you can put spin on the ball on its way to the green, so if its slightly off, you can try and angle it back to the hole, or use topspin to try and land it short and run it up to the hole. Good luck!

This is the last objective in the Toddler Years. The goal of that objective is to land within 2 feet of the hole but to unlock the achievement you need to actually make a hole in one. This may take you quite a few attempts to make this shot. There is defiantly some luck involved and unfortunately there is no magic secret to accomplish this since there are so many variables involved with the shot. (Wind, aim, swing, etc...)
The best suggestion is to again use amateur settings and use the caddy to assist you with the shot. I have found it the easiest to use the 5 wood which will hit on the front of the green and roll up to the hole. You may need to use some spin to influence the shot as well, but not much is needed as it is mostly a straight on shot. Just a couple of ticks of spin one way or another may be all you need and its possible you may not need to add extra spin at all. I have also noticed it was easier to make it when there was little to no wind or if it was either blowing directly into or away from me. Just keep plugging away at this shot and it should come the more you attempt it as you will being to figure out the exact shot you need to make it in the hole.
This is the final Toddler Tiger challenge, and what you are looking for is a straight hole out. This is actually not too as hard to achieve as you may think. Here are a few tips:
- Firstly, switch to a 3 Iron. The 5 Iron you start with is not enough club for the shot.
- Tweek your aim by judging the wind. For 0 wind, its almost dead straight. For a side on wind of 6 or 7, allow almost a whole grid box on the green for the ball to move in the air. Use you own judgement.
- Add some top spin in the air. (Push up on the Right Stick). You will have to spin the ball a little to get it to chase up the green to the pin. It does not need a whole lot, just enough to get it there.
- Ideally, try to have it arrive at the flag with enough pace to go about a yard or two beyond it. That’s fast enough to get there, but slow enough for the pin to accept the ball without it pinging off.
This one shouldn’t take too long to pull off. Use the tips above, and use small alterations to tweak your shots ever closer.
