How to unlock the Tigers have FIR achievement in Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 13 - Definitive Guide

As the guide says, you must complete the 18 hole round with 100% FIR. The easiest way I found to knock this out is to go to the course St. Andrew's Links. I used my created golfer (who doesn't have the greatest of stats). Also, found it easier to use the following pins: Golfer pin (the one that enhances the given golfer's overall stats), accuracy, and shot preview. Good luck!

This simply requires you to hit every fairway off the drive on par 4 and 5's on any course. Par 3's do not matter for this achieve. Set your difficulty to Amateur and calm weather to make this as easy as possible if you are having trouble swinging the club accurately. Many have found St Andrews to be one of the easiest because of the very wide fairways and very little hazards. You will likely achieve this simply playing through the career.

This one is pretty easy once you set up your round properly. I got it in the very first round I played, along with That was GIRrrreat, From the Ladies Tees and Can You Give Me a Boost. I’d advise you to also try to get all of these in one go.

Go to Play Now, and set up an 18 Hole Strokeplay with the following settings:

Course: St. Andrews
Tees: Red
Weather: Sunny
Wind: Calm

St Andrews has very large and forgiving fairways and greens, which should make it easier to make sure you hit every one. The key for getting all Fairways In Regulation is to be conservative. You do not need to Birdie or Eagle holes. In fact the score does not matter at all. Aim for the widest sections of fairway available, well away from any bunkers, water or rough. If you have to drop own a club or two to be safe, do so. Because you are playing off the Red tees, distance shouldn’t be a problem.

Your FIR’s are marked on the scorecard after each hole, so you can keep track of your progress. Par 3’s don’t count towards this stat though, so don’t worry if you see those blank.
