How to unlock the Unstoppable! achievement in Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 13 - Definitive Guide

You will automatically qualify for your first masters when you win the amateur championship. If you win that one you also get the cheevo for that. For the remaining 6 just progress through your career normally. The only requirement for the masters is that you have to be ranked 99 or higher on the ea sports leader boards. So my strategy is to play all the 3 & 4 star events and that should keep you ranked fairly high. Just keep checking your ranking after every event so you dont go over 100. Playing the 3 & 4 star events is also a great way to work on your course mastery levels.

My first guide so please leave any and all feedback for help on future guides.

I don't know if there has been an update for the game since I played it last April, but if I remember correctly if you simulated to many tournaments your ranking would drop. If it fell far enough you would not be able to play in the masters. I know when i did my career i simulated too much and wasn't able to play the masters. Like my guide says just make sure you stay in the top 100 in the rankings and you should never have a problem.

yeah that will work for a quick way of getting the achievement, but i would recommend getting the other career achievements first (top 50, 10 and 1st), then adopting this strategy for the remaining ammount

Great information! Better than TW-PGA-12 with the "Broken Record" achieve, where you had to hold down the #1 spot for 281 weeks while working on the 7 Augusta wins.

Can you skip from the masters to the last event of the year the "season showdown classic" and still maintain a level above 100 each year?

How can you skip an event? That only seems to be possible if you dont have the course. the next one is always locked.

You will need to have a high enough ranking to where you can play any event before you start skipping them. Once you achieve the #1 ranking you should only need to play every 4 star event or above. If this is incorrect I someone correct it please. I haven't played this game in over for since i wrote this guide.

I've been ranked number 1 for for a while now and it still only lets me play the very next event. The rest are locked. I'm wondering if there's a way to start playing the round and then forefit the round as opposed to quitting and restarting it. I'll try that tonight. If I have to play through nearly 7 seasons is going to take me months and the FIFA 13 release is just around the corner!

There should be something that pops up that allows you to simulate any tournament. That is what I did when I got the achievement. Beyond that I have no other possible way to help you with this. Maybe you have a game glitch or something. Sorry I could not be of more help.

OK, I'm a nitwit. If I'd only have read what was on the screen. RT skips the tournament.

If you win the Master's you never have to qualify for it again. I don't know why you can't just play it 7X and be done. I have played enough for this year. 1 to go to 100%

I was just commenting it was kind of dumb....I had to start over. If you play just the majors and win. 4 Tournaments you will stay in the top 100. In my 6th year, I lost my putter in that stupid glitch...so I am going again. I did not mean for you to have to respond. Thanks you for the guide...it is fine...I am just lazy about time consuming achievements anymore. Take care....

It's fine man I completely agree about these time consuming achievements. I always find myself grinding them out trying to get the game done as quickly as possible to the point where I don't even enjoy the game nearly as much as I did when I first got it.

It's been awhile since I played the game, but I think you can play as many as you want.

you mean you have to be in the top 100 to qualify for the masters? so much for realism in the tour mode like ea said they were going for. in RL winning the masters automatically gives you a life exemption, you never have to qualify again.

I have 3 more achievements to get and one of them being the 7x Masters Champ. I'll probably go through and play the courses that I need to master and then keep an eye on the rankings. If I go lose too much, I'll play more of the majors. Either way, it'll be a grind to max it out. Thanks for the guides.

That is true. I don't think big 3 who started the Masters last week are in the top 100. :) TW 14 has some more busy work... "Living Legend" Masters: Jack Nicklaus - 6 wins
U.S. Open: Willie Anderson - 4 wins
Open Championship: Harry Vardon - 6 wins
PGA Championship: Walter Hagen - 5 wins. It is still glitchy but no resets.

This will be the most time consuming of the Career achievements but isnt very difficult. You can skip the majority of the tournaments in a season once you reach and unlock the #1 ranking achievement. Then you will simply need to win enough tournaments to stay within the top 100 in the rankings. It is recommended that you play the majors in the season and a couple of the 4 star tournaments to maintain a decent ranking. You may not even need to play that many but you can easily check your rank after each week and if you see yourself getting close to loosing a top 100 position, simply win some tournaments to get back into position to qualify for the following years Masters.

When you first enter Career mode, you goal should be to reach No.1 in the EA Rankings. Once you do this, you only have to maintain your rank within the EA SPORTS Top 100 to ensure your entry to the Masters the following year. You will now be able to skip events along the way, but do not skip more than one or two in a row without checking the leaderboards to make sure you are well within that cut line. Also, make sure to play in the Majors, as they will yield higher rankings than ordinary tournaments. Try to keep a decent buffer between you and those outside the Top 100 in the rankings for safety. If you skip too much, you will drop outside the top tier and miss out on that years tournament. Thanks to Dangles for the heads up.

My method was to skip from Major to Major (the first four 4-Star competitions), play them all, and win them all. If after the fourth Major, check your ranking. You want it to be around 40 to 50 at worst. If its higher, play a few of the FedEx Cup events to bring it down. If its low enough, skip to the start of the next year/season. It should still be in the 60's or better, so you can probably skip straight to the Masters again. Use your own judgement, and keep an eye on the stats. Rinse and repeat until you have your 7 Green Jackets.

To help make this go faster, you should cut down the rounds played in each event. You can do this in the Career Settings menu. One round per tournament is recommended.

As for actually winning the tournament, adjust the difficulty if you are having trouble.
