How to unlock the Accuracy Player achievement in Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 14 - Definitive Guide

I would suggest using Luke Donald (fantastic control golfer) and load up a practice round from the quick play menu, 1 golfer stroke play @ Pebble Beach. Edit settings as follows; > Weather: Clear > Wind: Calm > Wind Gusts: Off > Hole Select: Custom (just play hole #7) > Flagstick Select: Easy > Course Conditions: Average.
Please leave a thumbs up if this is of any help to you or leave a comment with any suggestions. smile

***edit*** If you load up a 4 golfer stroke play and play as Luke Donald for all players that way you get 4 attempts at a hole in one. All credit goes to OdawaBrave for this suggestion.

only thing i would suggest is using 4 golfers instead of one and using luke donald for all 4 then you get four tries at it before having to restart

I found that using these settings, 4 players all Luke Donald the TPC Louisiana's 4 Par 3's give you 16 chances in one swoop... usually get a zero wind speed on at least one of them.

Worked perfectly. I thought this would be a little tough but only took 2 reloads with using four golfers. Got it on my ninth shot.

If you have the historic edition then I have good news, this achievement WILL unlock if you get a hole in one with a control golfer on the augusta par 3 course, I can confirm this has I have done it a few days ago, hope this helps.

This is a rather easy trophy to gain to be honest, i did it on Hole 7 of pebble beach with Gary Player as you have to have a control golfer, now this can be done on ANY par 3 that you feel comfortable with so please keep that in mind. I have a video of a quick way to do it, it is not my video but the credit for that go to Jas who is on the xbox 360, so it works the same for the Playstation. Thanks smile

Use Luke Donald for this achievement, or you can edit your created golfer to set their style to control. There are many straightforward par 3 holes to attempt this on. I would suggest setting up a practice round on any course you are familiar with using custom hole selection to just play the par 3s.

Getting a hole in one may sound like a daunting task, but when choosing the right golfer and the right course it is actually much easier than you may think. Our destination for this trophy is Pebble Beach hole 7. Not only is the 7th hole one of the most scenic and recognizable on the tour, but it is also one of the easiest and shortest.

Enter a practice round selecting Pebble Beach, making sure that the weather is set to calm, and you turn off wind gusts (set the time of day to morning to get Morning Glory). Scroll further down in the settings, and select the custom hole selection option so that you can pick just hole 7. Once all the settings are set, make it a 4 player stroke play game with Luke Donald as all 4 player controlled golfers. Donald not only is the most accurate of the pros, but he also has amazing spin and his distance is perfect for this hole.

Now that you’re all set up, you will have 4 chances per retry to get this trophy. It doesn’t matter which Donald you get the hole in one with. There are two simple ways to get the hole in one. My personal choices is to not move the aimer at all from where it starts, and simply hit a perfect distance, perfectly straight shot, and afterwards apply dead backwards backspin. As long as you moved the shooting stick perfectly down and up, and you did not over or under swing it, Donald should hit it right above the pin and with backspin you can bring home the trophy.

The other option is a little harder because it requires a little harder of a shot. Start off by aiming the aimer left of the hole by a couple feet. Now, you are going to want to swing but you want your swing to be an under swing. Donald’s perfect hit sails over the pin but if you under swing the stroke, he can land it right in front of the pin only needing a little help from spin to send it into the cup. When you go through your backswing, you want to stop around the highest point of his swing arch. If you do it correctly, you can easily score a hole in one from the front left side of the hole.
