Go to Quick Play and choose Quick Tournaments. From this list you can choose the Masters, U.S. Open, Open Championship and PGA Championship. To win this achievement you must become the all-time leader in wins in each event. I did it this way instead of doing it in Career and I do not know if you can do it in Career. The current all-time winners for each event are as follows:
Masters: Jack Nicklaus - 6 wins
U.S. Open: Willie Anderson - 4 wins
Open Championship: Harry Vardon - 6 wins
PGA Championship: Walter Hagen - 5 wins
To get this achievement you must have 7 wins in the Masters, 5 wins in the U.S. Open, 7 wins in the Open Championship, and 6 wins in the PGA Championship. When I got the achievement I had 7 wins in the Masters, 5 wins in the U.S. Open, 6 wins in the Open Championship and 5 wins in the PGA Championship. Do not know why it worked out that way but that is when it popped.
You can check your progress after each tournament win by clicking on the All-Time Win Leaders section after you select the tournament you want to play (i.e. Masters, U.S Open etc.).
First, choose the course. Any course will work. You may want to switch it up for different rounds because you have to play several to get this achievement. You have different course options for U.S Open, Open Championship and PGA Championship.
For the set up, I chose Solo Leader for the Scenario. I chose this because you start out after the third round in the lead. At the beginning there may be some golfers that are in front of you but that is because they are progressing through their fourth and final round. If you can finish the round at 5 under or more, then you should win the tournament. 5 under is the most I had to score in any given tournament. There are other Scenarios you can play under but I chose the one where I was in the lead and I did not have to play with a second golfer. However, choose the one you feel like playing.
Next, choose the golfer you want to play with during the round. Here you can choose from the various pros or yourself.
Next, (and this is the important part for success), choose Edit Settings. Put the AI difficulty on Easy, Time of Day on anything you want, Weather on Clear, Wind on Calm, Wind Gust on Off, and Flagstick Select on Easy. The rest of the settings do not matter and you can put them on anything you want. With this formula I only had to shoot better than 5 under par in any given tournament to win. Most of the time it is less than that to win.
Along the way you should get these achievements as well:
Wanamaker Trophy (25)
Win the PGA Championship in Career or Quick Tournaments with a created golfer
Claret Jug (25)
Win the Open Championship in Career or Quick Tournaments with a created golfer
U.S. Open Trophy (25)
Win the U.S. Open in Career or Quick Tournaments with a created golfer
Green Jacket (25)
Win the Green Jacket in Career or Quick Tournaments with a created golfer
Good Luck and Happy Hunting.

Ahhh were those scenarios shorter than a complete round? Perhaps they are counting towards the total, but are not being displayed in the total?
By mfeforever on 09 Apr 2013 20:15
Great guide. Just wanted to confirm that any wins you get in career mode do not count. I won all majors in my first season and when I checked the all-time win leaders in quick tournaments none of them showed. I then won the PGA in quick tournaments and that then showed as 1 win.

I can confirm that career does not count. I have finished the career and completed all the Career Legend Goals and I did not get this cheevo. Must be done in Quick Tournaments.
The Career Legend Goals include winning all the majors the same number of times listed in this solution.

Ok, so I have 7 masters, 6 PGA's, 7 Opens and 5 US Opens. I am showing at the top of all leaderboards but no achievement. Any ideas?
By BudgieK88 on 07 Apr 2013 14:20
Ok so this is strange. I went back in to the leader boards and realised that for some reason I was only showing as tied 1st in US Open wins and PGA wins but nobody had the same amount. I figured I would try to win both again and see if that fixed it.
After I won the US Open again, the achievement then popped, but when I go back to the leader boards they still both say tied 1st.
Long comment I know so sorry, it's just a heads up to anyone that runs into the same problem that if they choose one of the majors again and win it then it should force the achievement into popping. Good luck guys.

As promised, detailed play information:
I played and won the rounds in the following order:
One round per major, for the individual achievements.
The Masters x 1 (1)
The Open x 1 (1)
The US Open x 1 (1)
The PGA Championship x 1 (1)
Play each major in turn until tied for the all time lead.
The Masters x 5 (6)
The PGA Championship x 4 (5)
The US Open x 3 (4)
The Open x 5 (6)
No achievement fired.
Figured I might have to play one more round for each. Decided to use the data in the solution (one more of each of The Masters and The US open) and comments (fired on completing another US Open) to guide the order of play. So I played
The US Open x 1 (5)
Achievement fired.
Not enough data to draw conclusions, but The US Open was the only major with you being in a five way tie for first.
If someone else works on this and would like to try a different majpr as the first additional one that would be great.

Like mfeforever, I played each tournament until I was tied for the lead in each. No achievement. I played one more Masters Tournament and US Open and it unlocked. It seems odd it happened that way but that is how it worked for me.

I think wins in the scenarios count as well... I'd collected all those Achievements before tackling this and it popped after my 5th Masters win, and I've only won The Open 4 times.
By TTDog666 on 08 Apr 2013 18:17
This is the reason that people have to give detailed data. By scenarios, do you mean Legends of the Majors? What ones do you think counted? The idea that Legends of the Majors counts goes against the text description of the achievement, but would be easily verified by checking the win count for each major in the quick tournaments.
Was your last win a quick tournament at The US Open, as seems to be the case for the three of us?
Trying to gather enough data to figure out EA's programming issues, so TAers know what they have to do to get this to fire for them.
By mfeforever on 08 Apr 2013 18:41
All the "quick tournament scenarios"... such as "two in the running" and "legendary rivalry"
I've checked the "all time lists" and I've got 5 Masters win and only 4 for The Open... I was keeping count of how often I won each with my created golfer so I knew exactly how many times I'd won each.
By TTDog666 on 09 Apr 2013 19:42
Full round... the Achievements pop after the final round... all I could think of as to why this one popped 6/7 rounds earlier than I expected.
By TTDog666 on 09 Apr 2013 22:11
Mine just popped with 7 Masters, 6 U.S. Opens, 4 Open, and 4 PGA. I've also played all of the scenarios for the achievements. I can only imagine that it includes all wins regardless of who you play with. I used my male created character for the scenarios, but I used my female created character for climbing the leaderboards, so that I could get to Level 50, since it didn't pop for my male created character after I imported XP. For the Open, it shows my female character T6 with 4 wins. Hopefully this will give you a little more data to try to figure out EA's issues!

I included the scenario achievements for my total rounds played in quick tournaments and mine popped after my 5th masters win.
masters - 5
us open - 5
open championship - 4
PGA championship - 6
i was still expecting to so 2 more masters and 3 more Open championships...
dont ask me whats going on with that.

To add to all the other comments, I acquired enough wins in each event to tie for the lead and the achievement did not pop. Then I played the Masters for the seventh win. Then I played the US Open for the fifth win. The achievement popped after the US Open victory, thus, it still shows me as tied for the lead for wins in the Open Championship and the PGA.
One other thing to add is that I did this before I started playing career, thus, these were the only wins I had for any major when I attempted this achievement.
By GMichaelC on 17 Apr 2013 16:18
Tied for wins in each tournament. Played Masters one more time and then US Open. Achievement popped after finishing round at US Open much to my surprise. I was tied for wins in both Open and PGA quick tournaments. Quite bizarre indeed !!
By KnucklesNorwood on 19 Nov 2014 16:51
Just here to confirm that this combination of victories unlocked the achievement for me:
masters: 7
us open: 6
open: 4
PGA: 5
I tried to play them in a different order than the boosters above but upon playing my seventh Masters the achievement unlocked. If you're going for this achievement you might want to try completing the 7 Masters wins first and then working on the others. You might be able to save yourself a little time and unlock it earlier.
By Wiznyatt on 25 May 2016 14:57
Solid solution.
Under settings, you may want to suggest Red tees. For the Masters, the easiest tees and flagstick settings are called Members and Thursday respectively.
As for your achievement firing before your expected win totals. Are you not technically the all time leader when you tie the previous leader? Do you remember which tournament you had just completed when it fired? Perhaps it was one that tied you with the previous leader? I have just started playing the majors in Quick Tournament mode and will attempt to verify this theory.
By mfeforever on 07 Apr 2013 02:35
Interesting. I would have figured any full round scenario won would have been reflected in the individual major all time leader board.
By mfeforever on 09 Apr 2013 22:29
Maybe... but as some are played as other golfers, Nicklaus v Palmer for example, it doesn't add to their total but doesn't go down to your created golfers total either... at least not in the all time leaders board... as there is at least one for each major it must count towards this Achievement as I'd completed at least one for each major before starting on this.

@jacky rooster:
I had the same thing.
I did the masters and US open first:
masters: 7
us open: 6 wins (although it says T1 while I am the only one with 6 wins)
I have 4 wins on the open championship and I got the achievement by winning my 5th PGA championship
So I am tied at the PGA championship for first, I only have 4 wins on the open championship and the achievement still popped. I was really surprised that it popped.
I was winning yesterday at the open championship when the game crashed (for the 30th time or something), but now at the 18th hole, but I can not imagine that has anything to do with it.
So I got it with
masters: 7
us open: 6
open: 4
PGA: 5 or 6
Strange
