How to unlock the Shouting at Amen Corner achievement in Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 14 - Definitive Guide

Not an easy achievement, but then again not screamingly difficult. Tips for the holes:

#11: A relatively straightforward par 4. Approach shot is downhill, so grab a club less than you normally would, wind permitting. Relatively flat green.

#12: This is a pain to birdie. A small green that sets itself up for a cut shot (fade) that works left to right, or a draw if you're a leftie, and slopes towards the water (Rae's Creek). The wind swirls on this hole (as it does in real life), usually in a counterclockwise fashion, so set yourself up distance-wise for a shot into a specific wind direction, and then start your swing when the wind is 90 degrees away from the direction that you've planned on hitting with. Any shot on the green is a good one, but I would suggest overclubbing and hitting into the wind so that the ball falls down on the pin and doesn't release much upon landing.

#13: As a par 5, it's the easiest birdie opportunity. Just make sure your drive is safely on the fairway, as even a 3 wood can round the corner and give you a line-of-sight approach on the green. As for the approach, it's a sidehill lie with the ball well above your feet (below for lefties), so aim further right than you normally would, wind permitting. Make sure you have enough club to carry the water (still Rae's Creek), and don't worry about whether or not you're on the green TOO much, as even if you're in a bunker or the rough, it still leaves a short chip or pitch and then a putt for birdie. As for the green, it too slopes towards the water (left to right, from the fairway), so try for a leave below the hole to simplify your eagle or birdie putt.

The easiest way to get this obviously is to play this in a practice round from the red tees on Amateur, because then you can enable spin to hone your proximity to the hole AND hit a shorter club into each green, but it's still not incredibly difficult to obtain in Career or Quick Tournaments (where spin is also disabled).

EDIT: The achievement will pop when your birdie (or eagle) putt drops on #13.

another way you can do this is when you are going through the career and you are in the masters tournament, you can save and quit on each whole until a birdie is achieved

Do achievements still pop if you turn on mulligans?

Mulligans void any achievement attempt, just quit and reload if you mess it up.

Yes, if you don't get a birdie on a hole. Save n quit. Reload career and click on resume instead of restart. You'll start on hole u messed up on. And no that doesn't affect achievement

Good guide. I have two additions for you.
1) Augusta only has Masters and Members tee selections, no red tees (choose members)
2) You need to select Full 18 holes. I choose Second Nine to save time and the achievement did not pop. I replayed selecting Full 18 holes and it popped right after hold 13 as you mentioned.

I was able to get it on my first attempt. These notes are great, thank you.
11 was very easy to birdie. Easy drive, easy second shot on to the green, and a very easy putt.
12 was hard. I hit it over the green into the bunker but the shot from the sand was straightforward. I just had to make sure it got there and it rolled in.
13 was pretty easy but I was not able to get on the green in 2. I stayed to the right of the water and my 3rd shot landed an inch from the hole for the easy putt.

This is easiest done in a practice round as it is the only game mode you can use spin in when playing Augusta. That said you will need to play this course at least 14 times for other achievements so you will have plenty of opportunities. This will unlock mid-round so you don't need to finish the round.

In order to get this achievement you will need to get lucky with the wind on the par 3 12th, which usually has a swirling circular wind that is there even if the wind set to calm. Practice makes perfect for this one.

Select Augusta National in practice round. Unlike other trophies, you cannot just skip to these three holes; you must play up to these holes. Pick any golfer, and set the gameplay setting to the easiest difficulty. Make your way through the course and finish hole 10. From here, you can risk it and hope you get 3 straight birdies at the risk that if you don’t you have to restart or you could use another method. The quit and save feature is your best friend for this trophy. Save and exit after each birdie you get, just in case you screw up. If you do screw up and you quit and saved the game along the way you can press the PS button, quit and reload the game. Continue this process until you successfully birdie all three holes in the same round and get your trophy.
