How to unlock the Spaniard achievement in Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 14 - Definitive Guide
You will come across/get this acheivement as you work your way through the legends of the Majors. Naturally, it is quite late into the game, as the acheivement relates to the "legend" challenge in about 1988, not in 1980 as the achievement logo appears.
I found this one of the harder acheviements when playing against a legend, mainly because of the wind. Assuming it is like this every time you play, you will be playing Links golf in gale force winds. Thankfully it's matchplay, so you can focus on each hole, knowing that if you mess up it will only affect that holes score. I found the key was just to be consisitent, and pick up birdies as and when - they are relativeley generous greens, so just focus on hitting the fairway, and then the middle of the green. Seve, in my game was erractic but usually made pars, and I was able to win 3 up by only shooting around -4. If you hit enough greens, you should hopefully make the odd birdie putt to allow you to pull away from him. If you are struggling with the wind, then try making use of the punch shot (X when you are ready to hit), or move the cursor further up the ball to hit it low, and under the wind.
Also, your stats are boosted if you play this early in the game, so don't feel you have to have maxed out the stats before you try this - I was level 11, and was boosted to such a level I was hitting it as far as Seve off the tee. Good luck!
