You will get this achievement as you progress Legend at the majors - it's about the 20th challenge you will have.
It's a 3 player stroke play match against Snead and Hogan, using 1950 clubs. There appears to be a levelling of skills for this as before playing it told me it was improving my stats for this - I assume they will downgrade you if your character is too good.
To win the challenge, you must win, or win by 2 shots to get Legend status. When I played, Hogan shot +4 and Snead -2, so it isn't the hardest achievement to get, as in my go, -4 for 18 is actually easier than some of the other normal a Legend challenges!
Given the CPU ability varies per game, if you find they are birding everything, just restart event, and hopefully they won't be as good second time. Good luck!!
