1940 is the second level of the game. Shoot down enough opponents in 1910 (the first level) to call out the large blimp at the end of it and then destroy it to progress to 1940. Do all this without losing a life and you will unlock the Achievement.

All you need to do for this achievement is survive 1910 without losing a life. Naturally, just shoot everything and avoid the bullets, bombs and other aircraft until the blimp appears. Destroy it without being destroyed yourself and you will unlock this achievement.
