How to unlock the Death-Proof achievement in TimeShift - Definitive Guide
****************** Spoiler Warning *************
I got this on the last level of Act 2 on the rooftops, the level where you need to snipe out the turret gunners.
This level looks almost like the MP1 (rooftops) multiplayer map. If you know that map well you should have no problem here.
There will be a lot of enemies but the advantage is you have a lot of cover between doorways and can wait for them.
You also have sniper rifles available in this level so that means you can use timestop and can get headshots with ease.
There will be a few jetpack soldiers here and a gunship midway through the level but with the amount of cover here they will not be a problem.
I'm not going to say this is easy because it isn't. This is a short level with plenty of cover which is critical on Elite difficulty and has the right weapons to make it easier.
I hope this helps, this is what I did to pull it off.
P.S. I did not have any luck with the save/load method in case you die as an insurance measure. I think the updates removed that, so don't die.
I also did not get it when I had to leave mid-way through a level to the dashboard, be sure to try this in one go.

A pretty good level to get this achievement on is the Episode Two level where you have to access the server rooms (second-last level in the Episode, I believe). It's fairly short, takes place entirely indoors, and there are only regular soldier enemies to fight. Just be cautious and remember to retreat to let your shield and time powers recharge before engaging enemies.
The alt-fire on the Shattergun will kill any enemies close to you in one shot; use this in conjunction with Time Freeze to take out enemies that come after you when you retreat. Most enemies on this level don't move around a lot, so if you're patient you can proceed fairly easily.
There's one tricky part near the end of the level where an elevator will crash not long after you get on it; when you hear the suit voice telling you about a hazard, get ready to pause time when the elevator briefly stops at an open door so you can get off the lift. There's an enemy in this room, but he has his back to you so he's easy to take out.

To unlock this achievement, you are required to beat any level without dying, not an entire act. Remember to take cover if you need to recover health and make good use of your time powers.
A good way to unlock this achievement is by completing the level at the beginning of act three. You start the level on a Helicarrier where you need to shoot down bombers. Beat this level without dying and the achievement will unlock.
This achievement stacks so if you beat it on Elite difficulty, you will unlock the achievements for Casual and Skilled difficulties.

this is pretty much the easiest way to get this achievement because even on the hardest difficulty it's pretty hard to die in the helicarrier.. unless you purposly get yourself hit by every rocket

I actually got this on the first level on the second act. I just took it really slow pausing and slowing down time like crazy. Only popping out my head when had slow active.
I tried to do this on Act 1 on a few of those levels by reloading saves when I died. However I never got the achievement that way. Not sure if there was an update, but that never worked for me.
On another note, if you're slowing down time a lot like I was, you can get a few others achievements as well. Stealing 10 weapons for instance is a good one to do along side this.

I got this achievement in the first level. I find the first level the easiest. Despite not having any time powers at this point, most of the enemies are small and contained, and there is minimal frustration and plenty of cover. There are a few hard areas that might ruin this for you, but here are some tips AKA spoiling what to do for them:
First area with enemies. This is the point where they blow up the door and kill your buddy red shirts. If you don't feel like you want to risk it or wasting a bomb, you can run right off to the right without fighting anybody. You will have to wait for the door to blow up as a rude NPC is blocking you. Luckily he won't have to be in your way for long.
Rooftop with the helicopter thing. These enemies are kinda evil, but you can run off to the right and stay and wait for the first enemy and shoot his head or body if you panic. Then quickly head over there and shoot off a bomb at the guy on the bridge and wait off to your cover... Shoot the idiot. This is easier said than done, but it is a common death area... at least for me it was!
You can toss a grenade at the two weirdos hanging out for a boring conversation but they shouldn't kill you from up in your cubby area before dropping down. After going through the door, you will be over some idiots in the courtyard? area and you can snipe them easily up here with a bomb and have a lot of cover. Someone might go below you and rudely stay there but you can finish that loser off down there.. This helpful area above ensures you have a bit more cover! The power of cheating unfair plays!
The last area of this level is a fight just beyond this gated community of losers that actually might prove tough on Elite... If you stay near the ammo refill bin and snipe and hide the dudes over there and stay in this cover area, you can be absolutely mostly fine. Just make sure the first losers are done spawning before dropping or you could be killed. Take it slow.. if you have a bomb you can shoot the ambush just a bit past the drainhole thing... The rest of the losers will go down easily.
I have no idea if the final shootout before your suit activates is a scripted area, but crouching in the lower right corner near the entrance across from you and shooting anyone that looks like they can snipe you might help. If all goes well, it should pop.
This works for all difficulties and is the easiest level I find despite not having your powers. Maybe I just suck at this game. Hurray for wasting my time for a game nobody is playing anytime soon, but it might help somebody
