You will probably obtain this achievement attempting this achievement:

The ...Becomes the Master achievement in Titanfall 2 worth 60 pointsPlace in the top 3 on the Gauntlet scoreboard

On the leaderboard in the tutorial room, it displays Anderson's score at 56:65, which will take you a few tries beat if not the first, especially if you are grinding for the Becomes the Master achievement. Just makes sure you are landing platforms faster and hitting all the targets accurately.

That seems to have been patched somewhere along the way, cause I beat Anderson's time twice (am still a long way from being good enough to beat Lastimosa's) and didn't get it.

I just got the achievement with a time of 54.10, that shows that HolyHalfDead was right, you only need to beat E. Anderson's time of 56.65.

Beat Pilot Lastimosa's Gauntlet ghost recorder time

T. Lastimosa has a record of 35.45 seconds, However the locked achievement description is wrong as you only need to beat E. Anderson whose record is 56.65 seconds.

To unlock The Student... trophy in Titanfall 2, you will need to complete the Gauntlet tutorial in under 56:56.

This should be relatively straight forward to achieve, and most people will likely complete the challenge quicker, especially considering there is a second trophy for completing the Gauntlet in under 33:65 seconds.
