How to unlock the Build Yourself achievement in Titanfall - Definitive Guide

Build yourself

External image

Once you hit lvl 5, go to the menu and go into pilot loadouts. You can click on any pilot loadout and choose your primary weapon, like the R-101C CARBINE, choose Iron Sights as attachment, then Factory issue as the Mod, Achievement unlocked.

To use the load-out in-game you have to choose your load-out upon entering a match, It took me a while to find this out..... Thats for if anyone was wondering.

Good luck and have fun! toast

This achievement is extremely simple and can be acquired in roughly 10-15 minutes of gameplay.

Simply load up and play through 4-6 matches of Campaign or Classic mode, and earn points until you reach Level 5.

Once you reach level (rank) 5, Custom Pilot Loadouts become available, when in the menu, or even in the lobby while awaiting your next match, go down to and select "Pilot Loadouts" from the menu.

Click "Custom Pilot 1", then "Primary Weapon" (or any option), then select any weapon or option other than what is currently equipped in order to switch the item, and whoop! The achievement will pop. That's all there is to it.

Happy Hunting!

I give it a try. I got the achivement locked at 100% at Smartglass. In the achivementlist its locked. So the game thinks i got the achivement, but it won't unlock the GS. Thats my Problem. I try everything, delete the save, the game, recover my profile. Nothing works. You can't even delete the cloudsave. It's horrible.

Yeah man I am sorry to hear that! Well if nothing else is working, hopefully the idea I had before will cause the smart glass to double check it's own work and give you the achievement after Lvl 5 in Generation 2. This game does have more than a couple issues, and there will be an update released soon, which might correct the problem as well.

Sorry, what do you mean by "Unlocked at 100%"? If I knew that maybe I could give you a better answer.

I'm not sure how much you play/ intend to play, but I bet odds are decent that this will unlock for you after you go up a generation and then have Custom Pilot Loadouts unlocked again at level 5.

Best idea I can think of at the moment. Let me know if you get it worked out!

The ability to customize Pilots is unlocked at level 5. To earn this achievement you will need to change any one item and then go back to the prior menu. As a rule, you will want to modify your Pilot extensively as you unlock various pieces of equipment, and have multiple setups for different game types and goals. As such, you will undoubtedly get this achievement without trying.
