How to unlock the Look Around achievement in Titanfall - Definitive Guide

To snap a pilots neck, you must approach the Pilot from behind and click the Right Thumbstick in. I would recommend looking for snipers in building or roofs, make sure you have the cloak ability and sneak up behind them. If you are in front of the Pilot you will kick them instead.

These have to be actual players and snapping the necks of AI's will not count.

You can see your progress by going to Challenges > Melee Kills > HEAD TURNER
Thanks to Waddaboo for that. :)

The achievement won't pop until the round is over.
Thanks to InfiniteRefrain for that :)

If you quit the game before the end it may not pop

Question, why is this guide needed? Not to sound like a ads or anything but I think the achievement is pretty self explanatory.

@paddycfc22 were 10 of those on Pilots? AI don't count towards this achievement.

A good time to attempt to get a few of these in is right at the start of the battle; before titans have been called in. Rather then just rushing head strong into the enemy, try to find a way above, around or sneaking past them. Few pilots check their back, especially at the start of a match.

Cloak is a good choice for your Tactical ability too since it makes detecting you just that much harder.

Just a quick tip.

hang around turrets. when an enemy pilot hacks the turret you have an easy neck snap.

airbase has a turret in one corner with a room beside it and a higher level. Its a good spot to farm kills.

be sure to be directly behind and as close as you can get to the pilot before wringing his neck. I found if you are behind but a little to the side you will jump kick instead.

When approaching any non-Titan enemy from behind while playing as a Pilot (as opposed to a Titan) you will be prompted on the screen to click to execute them. You will need to do this to an enemy Pilot 10 times to unlock this achievement. They do not all need to be in one match or in the same generation.

Boosting Method:
Start a two-player match on an Asian server in Capture the Flag. Run across the map and get behind the other pilot, and then click when prompted. The advantage of playing Capture the Flag is that they will respawn near their flag each time instead of spread all over the map. Repeat nine times. If you are having problems finding the other pilot, have them fire their gun once and a large red dot will appear on your minimap to help you locate them.

Non-Boosting Method:
The Attrition or Campaign playlists are the best opportunities to earn this achievement. While playing, keep an eye on your minimap for large red dots (these indicate Pilots as opposed to the small red dots which are grunts or Spectres). Many Pilots snipe at players from windows, so when you see one in a building try to get inside and go up the stairs to hopefully approach the enemy Pilot from behind. Note that your Pilot makes noise when walking, and much more noise when running, so depending on the enemies sound settings and level of awareness, they may hear you. There is a stealth kit you can equip that reduces the amount of noise from your footsteps that may help if you find yourself struggling with this achievement.
