How to unlock the My Generation achievement in Titanfall - Definitive Guide
Alright, well if you've ever "Prestiged" in a Call of Duty game before, then you'll understand this.
After you level ALL the way up to Lvl 50 in a match, after the match, you'll notice a new selection at the bottom of the menu called "Regeneration".
You can click on it safely to check it out yourself , and I promise there are 3 individual "are you sure?!" Prompts before you delete ANY of your progress. But if you choose to accept the terms and the prompts, are okay with losing all of your progress and gear, then keep selecting "yes" and continue". After 3 prompts, all said things will be erased, and you'll be back at Lvl 1.
The game keeps all of your "Personal Stats" saved, as well as all of your burn cards. You also get a "Generation 2" badge/ icon next to your name in multiplayer lobbies, and you now earn EXP at an accelerated rate of 110%! The more times you go up a generation, the higher that bonus becomes, and somewhat oddly, allows you to reach each successive generation easier than the last.
For a couple extra tips for getting there, this is my guide to reaching level 50:
- First, just sample the various game types in order to see what you enjoy the most, what you're best at, and which mode you seem to earn the most points in. Obviously, whichever game type you have the most success in and enjoy the most will help you reach this goal faster, and without feeling like you are just "grinding" your way there.
- That being said, by far the most lucrative and efficient method of earning points is by completing the large variety of "Challenges" available. There are currently a total of 960 Challenges, comprised of a 12 different categories and a multitude of sub-categories. Each challenge is separated into 5 "tiers", or levels, with each successive tier requiring a larger amount of whatever the goal may be in order to unlock it.
- Completing each successive tier yields a higher reward of XP (and other rewards) upon completion. The XP reward for each tier are the same across all challenges, and are as follows:
Tier 1 - 500 XP
Tier 2 - 1,000 XP
Tier 3 - 2,500 XP
Tier 4 - 5,000 XP
Tier 5 - 10,000 XP
- Although you will earn and complete a wide variety of challenges over the course of your career just by playing normally, you can also choose to focus on certain challenges and quickly rise through the tiers to earn the highest rewards quickly.
- In my experience, the quickest and easiest method of gaining XP and levels quickly is by selecting your favorite weapon, and using it consistently until you've completed the 5th and final tier of all or most of the challenges for that specific weapon. For example, the Carbine, which is a great all-around weapon and available right from the start (although keep in mind challenges aren't unlocked until level 4), is the perfect weapon to use while you level up, and if you use it exclusively, will earn you a great deal of XP very quickly.
- Continuing using the R-101C Carbine as an example, there are 6 different challenges related just to the use of it in combat and over time. Between the 5 tiers of all 6 challenges, completing all of these will net you a cool 114,000 XP alone. Depending on your play style, about 90-95,000 of these points can be earned in roughly 5 or so hours of gameplay, not to mention the huge amounts earned by all other simultaneous challenges you are earning.
- Simply put, just play with a weapon you like until you earn all or most of the associated challenges, then go ahead and move onto a new gun and blaze through those. Using this method, I reached level 25 in only 3-4 hours of gameplay, and Lvl 50 in under ten hours in-game. (It would have been more, but I've been taking breaks after every achievement I earn to write these guides, haha).
Let me know if you have more tips I can add or if there's anything I need to change.
Happy Hunting!

Titanfall Achievements "Maxed Out" And "My Generation" "Titanfall Achievement" This Video will show you the best ways to get the Titanfall Achievements Maxed Out And My Generation Achievement
The fastest way to ran up is doing the challenges once you reach lvl 50 and become a second generation pilot you get 110% XP all the time
Maxed Out 50
Reached level 50
Level 50 requires 900,000 XP. The leveling in Titanfall is relatively fast compared to most shooters, and experience can be earned in every game mode including Campaign. Completing challenges will offer bonus experience (10,000 for a Tier V challenge), so if you've maxed out a gun, it will be beneficial to switch to a new one and work on new challenges. This will also help toward "All the Hardware."
My Generation 50
Became a second generation Pilot
To perform your first Regeneration, you simply need to reach Level 50 and choose the option to Regenerate (this Generation has no challenges tied to it). Make sure you earn "All the Hardware" before regenerating, as doing so will reset all of your unlocks and give you more work down the line. You earn experience and credit toward challenges in every game mode, including Campaign. I personally get the most points in Hardpoint matches, picking a spot and defending/retaking it the entire match.

This achievement will unlock when you regenerate the first time. You will need to obtain level 50 and at that point there will be a new option in the menu for Regeneration. I recommend reading the guide for "All The Hardware" before deciding on when you will regenerate the first time.

After leveling up to level 50, you will be offered to move to the 2nd generation.
IMPORTANT! All unlocked weapons in the game and test progress will be reset. So get everything you need and move on.
