How to unlock the Pilot Hunter achievement in Titanfall - Definitive Guide

Pilot Hunter

External image

You must win 50 Pilot Hunter matches, joining in the middle of a winning match you do get a win.

The first method I will say is if you want to get this by playing normally and get 50 wins while going for the objective. I have been doing this method for a bit and it seems to be the best if you don't want to join any boosting sessions.

What I did was join a match and if my team was winning I stayed, but once my team loses, I would leave and search again. I have won about 10 in a row with a group because they were some good players.

Now once you found a winning game and keep playing until they lose.

[BOOSTING METHOD]

This other method can be a bit annoying but it is the fastest especially if you get it going.

Trueachievements has boosting sessions if you go into the boosting session category (or add this game to your boost list) If you host a session, just follow this guide and you will get some fast wins. Create a party and get 6 of the people in it, then create another party and get the other 5 in it, (12 people in a session 3 as back-ups) Have 1 person be the party leader and control that group as you control the other.

Once this is done, both leaders change their servers to JAPAN WEST in the Main menu, then invite everyone in your parties to the games.

When both groups have 6 people in both groups, just search on Pilot Hunter at the same time running into each other. Once you find each other and the game starts, the team losing first just back out. Once back on the menu, start searching again to run into the group again and alternate wins.

Please anyone who is terrible at this game (it seems like 90% of the people are) just sit in a corner and hide in this mode, you are doing absolutely no good going 1-14. I have had so many games where i go 25+ kills and 0-5 deaths where all the 5 other people on the team have to do is combine for 25 kills and they can't manage to do it.

@jason - I know how it goes, but I really haven't seen people this bad consistently in other games. Usually there is one guy going like 1-15, but in here it's like three or four of the six people are just awful.

I have been stuck at 25 out of 50 for three weeks now. I have contacted Microsoft Support and after some resetting they tell me the problem is with EA Servers not updating my information. So now I'm waiting to talk with a EA support representative.

Do the map pack levels count towards the achievement?

So your strategy is to win if you can and if you lose find another game?

Basically find a winning team and stick with them to increase your chance in getting wins.

This method I used with a friend to get my achievement. You will both get a win in about 5 mins including load times.

This method requires two people and to be in a low population server.
First of all both players search for the game mode, in this case pilot hunter and make sure you are both on different teams, you can't invite your partner into the lobby otherwise they will be on your team, but don't worry we will use this to our advantage.

When you are both in the lobby it will take a couple mins to find a game however during the load screen for the game one person highlights their partner's gamertag and chooses "join game". I waited until the map was almost loaded before hitting cn_A to join and as soon as the map loads you will be put into another load screen however for your partners team.

Since you will both be on the same team against no enemies the match will finish in about twenty seconds and you both get credit for the wins.

It saves a lot of time as opposed to one person joining and quitting and then returning the favour.

Any questions please leave a comment.

You need to be on the winning team of a Pilot Hunter match 50 times. Note that for the "I've Seen It All" achievement, you also need to play Pilot Hunter on every non-DLC map at least once, and for various DLC achievements you will need to play this game mode on every DLC map as well.

This achievement can be tracked in the Player Stats -> Levels screen, although it shows win counts by map so you will have to scroll through all 24 maps and add up the total yourself. You also can look at the achievement app where each 2% equals one win.

Boosting Method:
Create a two player game on one of the Asian servers and as soon as both players have spawned you can have one player quit, giving a victory to the other player. There will be a small delay of about 30 seconds before the victory screen appears, but at that point the other player can rejoin the lobby. Rinse and repeat. Each victory will take approximately five minutes with the lobby delays and loading screens.

Non-Boosting Method:
You are much more likely to win in a competitive Pilot Hunter match if you have a few teammates that have mics and coordinate. Work towards spawning Titans and stay near each other for support. The various US and European servers usually have a small number of players in the Pilot Hunter playlist, but you may need to try at a different time of day if there are no games at a particular time. If you find a team that works well, try to stick with them by inviting them into your party in the game itself, otherwise the players will get redistributed for balance after each match.
