How to unlock the Pull Harder! achievement in Titanfall - Definitive Guide
To unlock Pull Harder!, you must kill an ejecting pilot with the plasma railgun.
The Plasma railgun is a Titan weapon that is unlocked at level 12. This achievement can be made easier by killing 10 enemy Titans with it to unlock the instant shot mod, then equip this.
Basically, when a pilot ejects you want to lead your shot (depending on his direction of travel) and try to estimate where the pilot will be when your shot lands.
I made a video that shows it better than words. -

This achievement is for killing an ejecting Pilot with the plasma railgun.
This can be done in any game mode. For this I recommend you play Last Titan Standing and have the "instashot" mod unlocked and equipped for this. It will make all your shots insta-kills versus pilots, without having to charge up the weapon.
The best technique I found for this was to be very close to where the pilot ejected. All most under his launch so he would try to land on your Titan on his way down. Just aim straight up and and line up your shot. Don't forget to compensate for his traveling speed if you're aiming from a distance.
Now I have heard mixed stories on this achievement. Some people say you have to shoot them before they start to descend and some people say it's before they do an air jump. I personally hit my mark when he was in the peak of the arch. I find that to be the easiest mark since they almost pause there for a brief moment.
This by far is one of the hardest achievements to get playing legit. So, if you do get it legit, give yourself a pat on the back. You earned it.
EDIT: This has to be done in public matches and can NOT be completed in a private match. Boosting sessions are located on the right hand side of the titanfall page on this site. The achievement will unlock at the end of the match when it shows the game summary.
Now obviously you need to kill an ejecting pilot with the plasma railgun which is already asking alot since that thing is annoying as hell to aim at targets who are on the ground.
Now what you will want to do to get this achievement is........
1. Try to stay a nice distance away from Titans where the pilot is ejecting so you have a good line of aim. But don't be too far as this will mess up your shot in terms of overall distance.
2. Make sure there is enough ammo in your gun, 3 should be more than enough in the time you get. The amount of times I had to reload as I aimed got annoying or pulled off 1 shot only to reload during what would have been the second during a perfect aiming opportunity.
3. Do not worry about having to get the faster railgun shot, in the video I got this with the charge and you can fire just as fast but it will do less damage so take this into account. But also don't let it worry you. You can do it with OR without the precharged shot.
4. Lead your aim with the target, trust me the amount of times I missed by an inch because I miss timed by a microsecond during the leading process. Patience is the key.
5. Try to hit the pilot when they reach they're highest point as they will essentially stop in the air for a brief moment, this is an excellent time to fire.
6. Good bloody luck.
Video below showing how I finally got this.
Personally, I decided to go for this legit considering I am Gen 8 and had A LOT of games to burn through for wins (100 of them ).
Obviously you need the Plasma Railgun (and preferably the instant shot upgrade) for this achievement, and you need to kill an ejecting pilot. Some people say you need to kill them when they are going upward, but I can confirm that is not the case. I got a pilot after the peak of his ascent despite the plasma railguns annoying aim curvature bullshit that it likes to pull, which brings me to my point of this solution:
The plasma railgun IS NOT ACCURATE AT ALL.
It is completely random over distance - at first I thought respawn was going for authenticity and having the plasma blast curve with whatever planet's gravity you are fighting on. I soon learned, after watching my bullets basically fling off into the atmosphere, that was not the case.
And I tried EVERYTHING: standing right under an ejecting pilot, giving some space, tracking their trajectory, just shooting wildly after getting immensely frustrated......
Point is, you are probably not going to get this in your first go. You will find a lot of people have the auto-eject ability active, which means they go invis on their way up (making it practically impossible to shoot them with an inaccurate gun). Some jackasses like to just hop out of their dying titan instead of ejecting. And even when you have the perfect setup, and a pilot ejecting just the way you want him to, your bullets magically veer off into the distance as though it is desperately looking for JFK .
For those that do not wish to boost, obviously Last Titan Standing is your best bet, and just like with normal goosers, you need to be an active participant in the fight: hanging back and letting your team get slaughtered while you are waiting for an ejecting enemy will typically result in the other team using you in a re-enactment of the shower scene in American History X.
I got this on one of the new maps: Dig Site. And it was BE-A-U-TIFUL - like the planets aligned just so and, for at least one shot, my bullet did not sway to the extreme that I had witnessed so many times before. I caught the guy on his way down, and then openly wept tears of joy.
BE PERSISTENT. And know you have plenty of time to get this before you hit Gen 10: 100 wins for Gen 8 and 50 MVPs for Gen 9 will keep you plenty busy AND create enough opportunities to get this done.
Equip the Spitfire LMG with the Slammer mod as well as the Guardian Chip kit (makes your autotitan more accurate), and Equip your Titan with the Railgun with the instant shot mod. Put your titan in follow mode and go rodeo-crazy, and when the pilot ejects let your autotitan do the dirty work. Again, this is not tested but I know my autotitan kill counted towards the other "Pull!" achievement, so let me know if this works!
1. When that pilot is about to eject, I want him to eject towards me so I position myself as best I can to be right in front of him.
2. The sun can shine pretty bright on some maps and will ruin your vision so try to avoid shooting into it.
3. Track your targets ejection path. As he nears/reaches his apex zoom in.
4. As you've tracked your target line them up in your sights and take your shot.
Also I recommend using insta shot in case of a miss you can still get off another shot.
5. 7-10 seconds of fist punping, jumping. yelling and other celebratory fun are encouraged.
Good luck pilots. Hope tis helps.
After a Titan is doomed, the pilot has a chance to eject and as their Titan dies, hopefully land and continue to fight on foot. Your goal for this achievement is to kill them with the Plasma Railgun before they land.
Note that in order to move up from Gen 5 to Gen 6, you will need to do this five times (although not necessarily with the Plasma Railgun) so there is no need to deliberately work on it until that point.
Boosting method:
Start up a 1x1 game in any mode except Last Titan Standing and have both players bring in a Titan with the person working on this achievement armed with the Plasma Railgun. Have the Titans facing each other about 4 body lengths apart and the profile working on this achievement should reload if necessary and aim up at about a 60-70 degree angle. The profile that is going to (hopefully!) die should eject by pushing and then three times. At this point, it is merely necessary to hit the pilot before they hit the ground. The Plasma Railgun shot is not instantaneous, so a good method is to aim slightly under the pilot and then shoot as they pause at the apex of their ejection jump. Your shot will arrive as they start to fall and if all goes well, disintegrate them.
Non-Boosting method:
Join a Campaign or Attrition game for the most opponents. Ideally, you will want to be in a full room with 12 players. Ensure you have a Titan setup with the Plasma Railgun, and then lurk... Lots of Titans die as a rule, and most of the pilots successfully eject. Try to stick near other friendly Titans and help them out, but as soon as an enemy Titan is doomed, back off and aim up, even if you are getting shot at. Reload frequently so that you always have ammunition ready.

on gen 3, you need to kill 50 titans with this weapon, this is where you can shoot and get used to it, played the “last of the titans” mode (it didn’t work in others before), killed two pilots after ejecting in a round!) well, shoot 10 , so it’s not a problem at all with a machine gun (ho-16 autocannon)
in general, play, shoot and everything will work out, the main thing is not to rush and understand how the projectile flies.
