I used zip-lines to get this one. The spawn that's out over the waterside-on the right hand side- is a good length, just ride it back and forth maybe a half to full dozen times. Unfortunately this wont pop until after the match ends.

youno. when patch 4 came out it came with new achievements to earn one was the tree runner achievement (Was airborne for 500 Meters on Swampland) now i have done this over and over again and it should pop at the end of the game but it isnt i have googled the web and alot of people are saying the same thing

Was in a couple of matches trying to get this to no avail. Found and used multiple zip lines to get this, not just the waterside one. Probably only did about 3-4 on the waterside one. I was in a CTF match and had to use the one on the opposite side of the map when we swtitched sides.

tried with the waterside zip and didn't work. Will try different zips and see if that is what is stopping it from unlocking

Ive tried multiple zip lines, running from tree to tree in match and it hasnt popped yet... will continue the zip line method...

I think it's Glitched for those whom played DLC and met requirement prior to Update. Sort of like Vegas 2 and Private Rank.

I just ran around and hopped around trees (Failing most of the time) and calling down titan and ejecting twice straight away and by the time the game ended (Of my just failing at wall running and jumping a whole lot) it popped.

It's buggy for me too. I've tried zipline for the entire match with no luck. I've done the same thing with a different gamer tag (my brother's one) and the achievement popped at the end of the match.

Respawn on Twitter and There Forums Avoid this topic. I posted in other thread and had it deleted by Mods.....they know it's an issue and are avoiding it. Not a good sign, even if you don't know the problem is talk to us. Better than being silent.

Well TA deleted my whole thread on this issue which many here have responded to because people who weren't glitched (majority) voted neg and the ones who were voted pos Why even vote if doesn't affect you? Are the XBOX.org site leavers taking over? Really TA? Yes it's glitched, I have over 5km airborne and almost all challenges for airborne. TitanFall (Face Book) & Respwan/EA won't respond to the issue. Yes AndyGover it is cumulative not in one game. Many have posted that before.

@BTDTGATS In what way have they not responded to requests? This will be fixed when title update 5 comes out but there's really no point to release a title update so close to one another. They need to fix all the problems reported first and then they can release an update taking care of everything.

@BTDTGATS this will require a TU and won't be coming until they create a patch to fix this, the smart pistols aiming, insignia issues, what ever other issues they are looking into, and the days/weeks of rigorous testing for each fix. Patching software isn't an overnight job ...it can literally take weeks.

The issue seems to be related to the GT, so it makes sense that MS is in charge to fix the bug. Maybe there's no need for a client software update, just server-side.

Guy on xbox360a said he got a message from Respawn saying "the Tree Runner bug will be resolved with the next title update"....it may have to do with the GTs stats and not the GT itself so it may very well be client software related too, maybe even a combination of the two.

Unlocked commuter flight challenge but no achievement ffs. Now since returning to TF every other game keeps "retrying to connect to server" but kicks all back to main menu. I am so done with this game once achievements pop.

According to an xboxachievement user, their livefeed annouced that Title Update 5 will drop on July 31st along with the new map pack and new achievements. Let's keep our fingers crossed on this glitched achievement being fixed on that date.

Someone corrected me on xboxachievements website. At the bottom of Title Update 5, it says, "Fixed some kills/events not counting towards progress on challenges, achievements, or decals." This could be the fix but I'm not sure why Abbey would say that they are still working on it. Either Abbey didn't know that they fixed it, or that description isn't meant for Tree Runner. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

I'd ask ppl to be me forceful in demanding an answer to when this will be fixed as Abbie did say title update 5 would fix this after spending 300 dollars on this game or even the 60. Them lieing about dlc achievement. We are owed an answer to this.

Live is still having issues... all my games progress says 0% too, probably due to the servicing of Live, we won't know for sure if TU5 fixed this achievement until the service alert is lifted.

Update: Tree Runner just unlocked for me, noticed that smartglass had progress again so I was going to try for a game on swampland, as soon as I started the game and pressed start the achievement popped a second after getting into the private lobby.

Commuter flight challenge completed but still no achievement. After the console has been off now, I'll retry but its pathetic if it still doesn't, shoddy it hasn't already. Ridiculous its taken this long for a fix.

Hahahahahaaaaa!!! Epic fail. You download the dlc, you download the title update, THAT doesn't fix it. You have to then restart your console and then it'll actually "work" & pop the achievement *facepalm*

@ClaytThaGreat...the lobby before you start searching for a public/campaign game...right after pressing A at the start screen. I also played a Swampland game earlier in the day while the achievement progress were at 0%, it unlocked after they had progress again.

I was able to get this to pop after the TU and installing FE. I had done one hard reboot after the install, but it was a few days before going for this again. I was able to get it using the zip line on the right side of the base.

Glitched for me. Wallrunning, ziplining, none of it works. I'm pretty sure I've gotten 500m in the trees without even falling, multiple times.

Assuming Respawn now knows about it, the fix for it won't come until Title Update 5 if it's a game tracking issue. There's a chance it's an issue with the achievement locking issue, which can be fixed through the cloud on the Xbox One independently of a full Title Update, but that doesn't seem to be the case here seeing as some people are able to unlock it just fine.

This achievement is glitched, look at your personal stats (to verify that you actually did more than 500 m (look before and after a round then do some basic math). Just wait for an update.

As of v1.0.4.21

Works in update 5, for me atleast, just keep jumping for a game or two, ejecting from titans helps. Keep moving you'll get it.

Respawn confirmed that it's supposed to be cumulative anyway. So if you've played 3 or more rounds of Swampland and were at least relatively active during those matches it should have popped. Mine is glitched too so I'm hoping Title Update 5 coming out Thursday will fix this.

This can be done in any game mode, but since you cannot choose the map you will need to wait for Swampland to come up in a rotation and then remember to do so (and survive long enough as well).

You can also start a custom match in Frontier Defense on Swampland and start with or without public players.

This achievement requires that you are airborne for a cumulative 500 meters while on Swampland. It does not have to be in one game or one generation. Jumping, wall-running, being airborne from Titan ejecting, and using the zip lines all contribute to the achievement. It will unlock at the end of the match when you have reached 500 meters.
