In Defato's police station, you need to get to the evidence room to progress the main story. But you can first talk to the lady on the left, and she will tell you about the locked cache. You need to find the lost key. Simply follow the dialog chain ; it starts outside the evidence room with the small lady on the bottom right corner, the one rummaging through files in a cabinet.
