How to unlock the Shooting Star achievement in To the Moon and Beyond - Definitive Guide

There's not a whole lot to say here as the requirement is fairly straight forward. Just win 3 times in a row to get this achievement locked down. I'd recommend playing on Easy and getting familiar with the game by clearing out some of the other achievements first. This was the last one I tackled but you can do it in whatever order you want. I managed to get this one on my first attempt at it, but be prepared as the game can sometimes screw you over at the last minute and ruin your streak.

General Tips:
1: Play on easy, obviously.
2: Do not quit out mid game, it will count that as a loss.
3: In the first two rounds, focus less on specific points for each task and focus more on getting a few solid researches like Outreach Programs for example, along with boosting your funding of course.
4: Whenever possible, pay attention to trying to get Universal points by trading in one of each color at the end of the year. These will help a lot towards filling in some of the higher requirement tasks. This can also save a run in the final year if you are only missing a few points and can't seem to find anything that provides for those tasks.
5: If you're on a streak, keep going, try to get all 3 in one go, but if you fail and lose your streak, best to walk away for a bit and come back later to avoid frustration.

I quit on the last screen where it shows you your build stats and was able to get it. If I knew I didn't have enough to win.

For some reason I can’t play back to back games. After winning, it shows the screen to place your creations, and to press menu to close. I do that, and it keeps the background and the menu prompt, but nothing else happens. I have to reboot the game to play again

What worked for me was buying cheap progress cards first. If you buy a 16 cost card and immediately discard from an event, at least you'll have cheaper options to pick from.

I loaded up on the most expensive research early so I could snowball fast. It's pretty safe on easy since you get 5 free research to discard instead if an event kills it.

(I don't have achievement due to bug but I haven't lost follow my method in 8+ games.)
