How to unlock the First friend found achievement in Toby: The Secret Mine - Definitive Guide

This will be easily unlocked as you progress through the game in the first level. After the red-eyed monster drops the rock to block your path you'll see a "friend" trapped in a cage (marked by a white marker). Simply jump up into the cage to free him.

Your first friend is found in Level 1. Right after the giant creature drops the boulder, push open the barrier and follow the path beneath the creature and you will see your friend being held captive in a cage (indicated by a white dot). There is a box next to the cage you can jump on. Jump on the box and then jump and hit the cage and it will release your friend, unlocking the achievement.
