The Mountain Explorer is the guy that wants the 6 anicent paintings.
The six pictures can be found doing the following:
First 5 (that needs to be handed in) are:
1 - Right next to the mountain explorer
2 - On the opposite side of the cliff to the mountain explorer. Next to a long rope
3 - When you met the guy who gives you the mountain boots - there is a snowman, that you can honk to destroy, behind him
4 - Where the Miltary base is - the small town there
5 -Underneath the bridge by the observatory.
Once you have shown him these 5, go back to the start to catch the bus. Go to the mountain top and you will see it there ( a group of people celebrating a diamond shape). Whilst here, make sure you go to the summit!
When you return to the explorer - take a photo of him, all sparkling and you should pop the achievement

You can earn this in Kiiruberg/the peak of Kiiruberg.
You'll first need to complete the Quest 'Ancient Paintings', then actually complete the game before you can get this (see Ice fighter (25G)). When you go to the Peak of Kiirubeg, there will be a ledge that has two climbing chains. One will take you up and down the correct path of the peak, the other will take you to a cave painting. Take a picture of the cave painting, then bring it back to the Quest giver for 'Ancient Painting'. Give them the extra painting and they'll be able to finish off the history lesson of the mountain. When they're done, take their picture to get this achievements.
