How to unlock the Resourceful Agent achievement in Tom Clancy's The Division 2 - Definitive Guide

To unlock the Resourceful Agent trophy in The Division 2, you will need to help a friendly NPC at one of the resource gatherings spots which will be indicated by a tin can icon on your HUD.

If you encounter a random group of friendly NPCs picking up supplies whilst you are there, look for the one that has a button prompt to help them. You'll give them some materials, and once they are done with what they are doing, the trophy will unlock.

If you're struggling to locate a gathering spot with NPCs as your roam the map, you can quite often find a group of NPCs that will have a prompt above their head saying they are out gathering supplies when you leave one of your settlements. You can follow them to the resource gathering spot and give them materials when prompted.

Tried this but did not get any prompts to give them materials.

On the map when you run around near a settlement you will see friendlies out gathering supplies. All you need to do is follow them. Eventually, they will get to the place to get their supplies, move to the person gathering the supplies and give some of yours.

Note: If interrupted by enemies, the friendly carrying the resource will drop them so they can attack you. After the battle is finished it may take a while for them to resume but they will so don’t run off early.

You will need to take some control points before attempting this. Once you have one, hang around inside one of them until you see a 4-man patrol emerge from one of the doors. It will be noted above them in green writing that they're going gathering resources. Once you find such a patrol, follow them and help them fight and eventually they will start to gather whatever it is they went to collect. The achievement will unlock as they start to gather the resource.
