How to unlock the Strength in Numbers achievement in Tom Clancy's The Division 2 - Definitive Guide

To unlock the Strength in Numbers trophy in The Division 2, you will need to first recruit Grace Larson at the Theatre settlement.
To recruit her, you will need to complete main missions and side missions from NPCs at the Theatre settlement until she becomes available. Once she becomes available to recruit, you can talk to her on the top floor of the Theatre building.
Return to the White House and talk to Grace on the ground floor of the east wing. You will now have the option to create and join clans.
Both creating or joining an existing clan will unlock the Strength in Numbers trophy.

Create your own clan or join one, then the trophy will pop immediately. Playing with a clan is a lot better than going solo so it's worth while to do it.

To create and then subsequently join a clan, you will first need to unlock this ability by recruiting the character 'Grace Larson' to the White House. You do this by completing story missions for the Theatre settlement.
Once you have her, press
then go to 'Clan' on the left, then 'Create Clan'. From here put in all of the information for your clan that you wish to put, including a name that has to be unique, then hold 
to create it. On the next page you can edit the banner of your clan however you like then hold again to save and finish creation. The achievement will unlock here.
