How to unlock the Undressed to Kill achievement in Tom Clancy's The Division 2 - Definitive Guide

To unlock the Undressed to Kill trophy in The Division 2, you will need to shoot off every piece of armour on a tank enemy before killing it.

You can identify the Tanks by the icon above their health bar. It is the same icon as is used in the trophy image. When you encounter a Tank, they will be heavily armoured, with armour on the arms, legs, upper body and head.

You will need to shoot off every piece of armour before killing the tank. Fully automatic weapons such as SMGs, assault rifles and machine guns are you best bet to make this easier.

A good place to unlock this trophy is on the American History Museum mission on story difficulty. The Tank you will encounter will fire grenades. Simply dodge the grenades and then get up close to aim with precision when he is reloading.

I would suggest avoiding trying to do this while playing with randoms, as they might kill the tank before all of the armour has been removed. Play either in solo or with a friend/group who are aware that you are going for the trophy.

Pretty straight forward trophy.

Tanks are the heavy armour wearing yellow bar dudes. You will need to shoot off the armor around the arms, legs, upper body and head. A hit on the armour will be indicted by blue hit points and the armour will explode and fall off once it's depleted. There are plenty of times you come across a tank so try and defeat everyone else in the area first so it's just the tank left and focus on the armour parts 1 by 1. Do not use the turret or drone as they could get the kill early. Use automatic weapons too.

This can be boosted, a second player can keep the tank busy whilst you strip away the armour. Just make sure you get the kill and the armour hits. You can check out the trophy boosting thread here: LINK

You should first try to attempt this on your own, unless you're communicating with anyone you're playing Co-Op with so as not to have the enemy tanks fall before you get the chance to destroy all of their armour.

For this achievement I used the mission 'American History Museum'. A little way into the mission you will be defending a counter attack when in the 'Vietnam War' area of the museum. You will be attacked by one tank enemy if you're playing on your own, so during this counter attack ignore them and kill everyone else until you have only the tank left. Now you need to carefully shoot it in the head, body, both arms and both legs to destroy all of it's armour, before finally killing it. You will see a hit marker in yellow appear when your shot destroys a piece of armour so make mental notes as you do this.

I would reccomend using a single shot rifle so that you have as much control as possible over where your shots land, do considerably more damage with each shot than a fully automatic weapon, and don't accidentally kill the tank too soon.

Alternate co-op method: If playing with others, you can work together to destroy the tank’s armor but only the person who gets the kill (after the armor is removed) will get the achievement. When you are up against one of these enemies, communicate with each other to destroy all the armor first before deciding who will get the achievement. You will encounter these enemies many times in the course of your playthrough.

A tank is like a big walking tin can with a ton of armor on it.
He needs to break every part of the armor: head, body, arms and legs.

After all the armor was smashed, a bullet hit the mug. Vidos .

There is an easier way to target each piece of armor.
After level 30, we take the demolition specialization and kill with a grenade launcher. I shot at the body and all parts of the armor broke at the same time. Then we just finish it off.
It’s better to upgrade the “Damage from Signature Weapon” perk first.

At first I couldn’t do anything: because he dies earlier (when moving you hit not only the armor) or this idiot, when shooting at his hands, periodically drops a grenade at his feet and also death - then he did it the first time - the tank shoots at you from grenade launcher 5-6 times and sits on the ground to reload it and then we carefully shoot calmly at its part of the armor

The presence of the in-game prize Armor Piercer does not guarantee a trophy.
I got it only after a headshot in the face of the adversary.

A sniper rifle to help. Did this with a friend in the early stages of the game. One distracts, the other shoots at the right parts of the body. The main thing is to leave him alone alive. It all turns out to be very simple.

Museum of American History (Operation Invasion). At the very beginning, one machine gunner wanders around. I climbed onto a stray with a satellite dish, used a Chemical Installation with an Oxidizer 3-4 times, then using the Armor Repair Hive and the Bastion Ballistic Shield from above with a pistol, I first shot off the legs, then, as it turned out, the right shoulder, the body, the head, the left shoulder.

I tried to remove the armor with a pistol or a grenade launcher, but it didn’t work, they died and that’s it! Then I found a mob with a huge machine gun (maybe, of course, they all heal after a while, but I didn’t notice until yesterday evening), which is constantly being treated, that is, you remove the armor, if you hit its HP, wait for it to heal completely and continue to remove the armor.

In the northwest there is additional. a task in which you need to save a man who collects honey. So at the end a crowd of mobs appears, led by such an enemy. But his peculiarity is that he has a chainsaw and cannot deal damage from a distance. In my case, he was also very stupid, I don’t know if it was a bug or I was just lucky. As a result, I shot him in the body with a grenade launcher and the protection remained only on his legs and head. I decided not to risk it and finished her off with a firearm. An assault rifle took 1-2 shots at each piece and they fell apart. After that, a few shots to the head and the trophy fell out.

There is also an in-game prize: the “Armour-Piercing” insignia, for which you get a badge (can be obtained in: options > walkthrough > Acknowledgments > Fight > clamp ) To get a badge, you need to fulfill the conditions, namely: Destroy all parts of the elite (yellow) enemy’s armor, and the helmet last! Thus, we break the arms, legs, chest and finish off in the head, breaking the helmet, so you get both a stripe and a trophy! I had an elite true son with a chainsaw.

I'll tell you how I won this trophy. Go to the Museum of History (this is one of the instances), take with you a sniper rifle and a skill that scans enemies around like a radar. At the very end of the instance there will be a machine gunner. You kill everyone except him, throw away this scanner, hide behind a table, for example, the machine gunner will not come close. Drive him around the scanner and systematically shoot the necessary parts of the armor with a sniper rifle. The scanner shows when you aim the scope and if a Heavy is in range of the scanner, how much health each piece of armor has. Everything is standard - red is 1 or 2 shots.

I won the trophy in this mission "Museum of American History". I tormented him for a long time. The idea is that he first needs to break the grenade launcher, and only then break its armor. If you don’t break his grenade launcher at the beginning, then at the end, when you shoot in the right hand, the grenade launcher explodes and the person dies from the explosion.
If he didn’t succeed in knocking out the trophy, he would shoot at his feet with a grenade launcher and start trying again from the same place. And so it hasn’t started pouring yet.
