How to unlock the No Stone Left Unturned achievement in Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition - Definitive Guide

There are total 171 Collectibles and 84 Challengeobjects in Tomb Raider.

The 10 Documents "Lara´s Journal" collect you automatically (9/10) when you use Camps during the Storyprogress. The last One in this Row get you in the Ending Scene and the Achievement No Stone Left Unturned pops up during the Endscene.

In Survivortree you have 2 Skills which help a Lot to find Collectibles. (Orienteering and Cartography)
You can set a Marker on your Map to a uncollected Item and when you use Survival Instinct ingame, you see a blue beam of light on the Location from the marked Collectible.

If you collect an Collectible, it is automatically saved. After the Story you can use fast Travel to each fast Travel Camp to collect the missing Collectibles or Challengeobjects.

The Numbers behind the linked Timelinks are the Ingame Coordinates from each Objects. In the Youtube Description you have the Timeline too.

When you Click a Item, a new Window open and the Video starts from this Time / Item. Otherwise you can watch the Videos below the Areas and click manually to the Time.
In the first Spoiler is always the Video and in the second Spoiler is the Timeline with the Collectibles, Challenges & Coordinates.

Thanks for the info on Lara's Journal. The last one was the only thing I was missing.

Just a warning, there are 2 in Mountain Village that CAN be glitched temporarily (they disappear even when its still on your map), the one on the little shack where you sometimes see a statue you have to light (but there is no statue in this one) and DIRECTLY left of it on the slightly raised grassy area.......just like with the "sound loss" glitch, just exit out of the game and restart

I got the achievement but my save file says 99%?! Why?

@JimmieWorld, bit late but mine said 99% too. I loaded it up to check if anything was missing, and when I exited to title, it said 100%.

Two important points:

- Getting to the last campfire will outright tell you that this is the point of no return. There's also a free roam that opens up after you've beaten the game, so you're probably fine to mop things up afterwards.

- When I got to that camp fire, I had 100% on everything but was missing two documents: one comes from the ending as the guide says; the other was GPS Secrets 2. I thought I had gotten every GPS cache, but it turns out I was missing one in the Shantytown church (the icon was hidden under another one). Use the filter to check!

Finally, if you're here looking for challenge info, I found this text and image guide very helpful: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=42334...

Skill up grade cartographer really helpful.

Not really a guide as much as information. It's best to leave collectibles until near the end or after the main story.

You will need all weapons and story related bow attachments to collect everything including some challenges.

The before mentioned skill upgrade will make collectibles appear on your map (not challenges)

Use fast travel to enter a location. Use your map to mark your collectible , collect and repeat.

One or two areas do not have a fast travel so if you find yourself missing a gps or challenge but all the fast travel areas are at 100%, go into your map and highlight each area on he map. In the upper right corner will be a legend that tells you what you have or don't in the highlighted area.

One last tip. If you can't set a map marker you can't get the item from that fast travel point.

Probably worth mentioning that this achievement doesnt pay until the game is complete... at least, thats what happened to me!

This chieve popped after 10 mins of me thinking it was glitched (didn't show either, just appeared unlocked out of nowhere) maybe that happened to other ppl? I suggest staying in game for another 10-15 mins after credits and continuing. wave

you need all lara's diaries for this achievement, so it won't pop until you finish the game and get the last one of them

I'm at a point in the game where it said "Point of Last Return - Lara won't be able to Fast Travel after this point". But you guys are saying that after you beat the game you can fast travel and finish collecting stuff? It made it sound like if I beat the game, Fast Travel is forever gone. Also, do you have to get all the 'treasure maps' too for this achievement to pop?

Just one more thing... If you still get stuck just check out the guide for the 360 version as its exactly the same and there is a great video guide for all areas. Helped me a lot...
Kind regards

This is a little late but yes, you can continue after the story credits and collect everything you need.

The "point of no return" just means that between there and the end of the game you can't fast travel.

I've completed the main campaign and collected almost all items. Can someone tell me if the map in Geothermals can be collected after the red crate has been moved?

I had 100% everything and the achievement glitched on me for one whole day. Until I went snooping around cliffside bunker (which you can only get to from shipwreck beach, head south east) and the achievement randomly popped here. PS I did beat the game first, searched for collectibles on second play through... Hope this comment will help someone who is in the same situation.

This achievement has had issues glitching with some gamers. I would recommend finishing the game prior to collecting all the items. I would also recommend completing all optional tombs prior to completing this achievement. Make a few backup saves as you progress thru the game to give you a restarting point in case of issues unlocking this achievement. Good luck

You would be surprised, I thought mine was glitched also. If you see that you have 100% everywhere (like I did), check your maps and don't trust the 100% designation. I found two GPS caches at the Cliffside Bunker that I thought I had, but after completing the game and not getting the achievement, I started looking around. After getting them, cheevo popped. As the solution states, get the Cartographer as soon as you can, it really does help mark these things on your maps. My two cents.

Been mentioned earlier, but to confirm I found everything on the fast travel map, but didn't pop. The missing items are in the cliff side bunker as this doesn't appear on the map as you cannot fast travel to it.

Interactive map of the locations of all artifacts, documents, caches, tests, etc. (by MrXITMAH)

  • We put a tick next to the objects of interest, and marks will appear on the map in the places where these objects are located.
  • By clicking on the label you need, some information will appear on the location of this object and screenshots in miniature (when you click on them, they will open in normal size).
  • Once you have “passed” a mark, right-click to mark it as “passed”.

For owners of iOS devices, there is an excellent Tomb Raider Map App, which indicates the location of all diaries, treasures, beacons, etc. Found things can be marked directly in the application so that they do not distract from what has not yet been found.

And this application can also be said by ANDROID owners, and it is worth noting that there it costs almost 4 times cheaper
