On my first run, I didn't get that achievement. I spent the salvage during the story progression.
On my second run, I didn't get that achievement neither. I saved my salvage to get 5,000 at the same time, then spent it all.
I'm very worried about starting a third run as we don't get 5,000 near the beginning of the game, we need a few hours before that, and I'm not even sure to get it once again...
I guess I'll finish my last two multiplayer achs, and then delete my save file to restart a fresh one. Maybe my actual one is kinda corrupted... Or the game is very buggy, what I think.
