This refers to the small water hole at the end of The Great Pyramid, that leads directly to Natla. It is directly under the breaking floor that’s next to a swinging axe (and in front of the final secret). A running dive from the ledge will do it, but save just before to be safe.

If you're coming from the final secret, take one walking step back from the edge, then do a dive from there.

Tomb Raider I - Level 15 (The Great Pyramid)
At the very end of the level is a breakable tile with a swinging blade above a large pit. If you want the final secret, walk to the edge then jump back + walk back two steps. Do a running jump from this position to land on the tile, then keep running and jump to the alcove ahead.
After getting the secret, return to the edge and take one step back. Do a swan dive (hold Walk while performing a forward jump) to dive into the hole below.
