TR 1 - St Francis' Folly

Head into the Atlas doorway, and kill the gorilla on the left. Stand on the Omega symbol and go through the gate which opens. Turn right, and save your game.

Now, run forward - coming up on the left is a lower part of the wall you can climb up with the action button . The boulder in front of you will just miss you if you are quick and accurate enough at facing the wall and holding ! As soon as you camber to the platform above, the achievement will unlock.

"Using Modern Controls, I unlocked this by running at the wall below the first/nearest corner of the alcove ledge while holding +. Lara skipped the jumping/climbing animation entirely and teleported to a standing position on the ledge in the alcove."

Tomb Raider 1 - St. Francis's Folly (Level 5)

The switch for the Atlas room is at the very bottom level of the tower area. Once inside, prepare to fight off a gorilla before making your way to a pressure pad that opens a gate. Run upwards towards the boulder and quickly jump to the ledge on the left - you can also just avoid the boulder and climb after like I did and still get the achievement.
