How to unlock the TR I’m Not Falling for This Trick achievement in Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft - Definitive Guide

Obtained in TR1 - Natla's Mines
This is the first secret you'll reach in the level, right after you recollect your pistols.
Upon entering the secret area, do a running jump towards the entrance without triggering the sliding animation. Similarly, when leaving the secret area, face the corner as if you were going to jump to that floor, then hop back once followed by one sidestep left. Do a running jump from there and you'll land back on the ground without triggering the slide animation.
The achievement will unlock once you start approaching the main path again.

Tomb Raider 1 - Natla's Mines (level 13)
After obtaining your pistols and using the lowered building to reach a passage, there will be a ledge you can reach above you in that passage a short way in. Climb up, run past the door and stop before the slide. Stand in the middle/right of the hallway and perform a running jump at the edge before the slope down, and maneuver left into the passageway above the lava trap below. Inside is a large medi pack, Uzi clips and a switch.
The switch locks in the trapdoor above the lava hole and you can safely land on it. Do so, then turn right towards the entrance. Do a standing jump forward to clear the slope and run to the end of the passage for the achievement.

This locks in the trapdoor above the lava hole and you can safely land on it. Do so, then turn right towards the entrance. Do a standing jump forward to clear the slope and run to the end of the passage - the achievement will unlock. The achievement is specifically for not touching the slopes.
