How to unlock the TR I Only Play for Sport! achievement in Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft - Definitive Guide
For people who don't like this kind of achievement, good news because this is fairly straightforward as speedruns go. gobey17 says this now unlocks in NG+! To meet the 5 hour target:
- You do not need to learn speedrunning strategies or glitches.
- You can just follow the standard routes through the levels.
- You do have time to carefully take out enemies.
- You do have time to make small diversions for items.
- You do have time to carefully line up jumps and plan your movement.
- Time taken does reset upon reloading an earlier save or dying and restarting the level. The time is tied to the save, not to the playtime.
- You can combine this with less than 86 saves. It will be a bit more difficult, but still not that bad. If you do this, bear in mind you get a 'free' save at the start of each level, as you can choose to restart if you die early on (don't mash A though or you'll load something else by accident!)
- Courtesy of oONeonDemonOo, photo mode + pauses the timer while allowing you to look around
- Caves 10 minutes
- City of Vilcabamba 12 minutes
- The Lost Valley 14 minutes
- Tomb of Qualopec 12 minutes
- St. Francis' Folly 22 minutes
- Colosseum 18 minutes
- Palace Midas 26 minutes
- Cistern 18 minutes
- Tomb of Tihocan 22 minutes
- City of Khanmoon 16 minutes
- Obelisk of Khanmoon 22 minutes
- Sanctuary of the Scion 26 minutes
- Natla's Mines 32 minutes
- Atlantis 28 minutes
- The Great Pyramid 22 minutes

Shout out to oONeonDemonOo's comment on the other solution - going into photo mode pauses the timer if you need to do so.

***THIS DOES NOT UNLOCK IN NEW GAME PLUS***
You must complete the NORMAL game in under 5 hours. I found this out the hard way so am warning you all of this.

The "under 86 saves" achievement seems to not unlock as well in new game+. Also i wanted to share a tip for those who didnt know but if you need to pause the timer, the only way is to go into photo mode. Much better than saving and reloading a save.

Like the other guide mentioned, this is way easier than it might seem.
I finished my collectathon-run (all kills+collectibles) with 5:21 and kept saves just before the Detonator-skip in Natla's mines and Atlantis since I had no clue how close to 5 hours I would get.
Either way - reloaded the Detonator-save, finished the level, skipped a majority of Atlantis with a final time of 4:15 and final time was 4:40 and some.
There's another skip in Egypt that skips an entire level listed below - there are probably more, but just skipping secrets and/or stuff like defusing all of Damocles swords should be more than enough for a comfy time-buffer.
Unfortunately I was only able to find one of those pesky shorts that shows the jump to the detonator
