Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft

Location: Start of level 15: The Great Pyramid

This Achievement is story related and can be unlocked at the start of level 15 (The Great Pyramid) after killing the boss. This is required to open the door behind the giant enemy to continue.

Tips for the fight:

• The boss only has melee attacks, but can one hit kill Lara if he grabs her. So keep some distance.
• Jumping around is quite dangerous because on 3 sides there is a lava pit below.
• Easy method #1: With modern controls it's pretty easy to run around in circles while shooting at the boss or getting some distance and keep shooting while standing. The boss is slow in terms of movement / rotation.
• Easy method #2 (requires tank controls): When Lara drops down and holds on to the platform the boss returns to the starting position. This allows for a simple loop to kill the beast: From the start take 1 step back, shoot the boss a few times (while he is moving towards Lara), holster the guns, take another step back (so Lara is falling down), press the hold key to grab onto the platform, wait until the boss is back at the door, climb back up, take 1 small step forward and keep shooting until it's time to drop down (step back + hold key) again. Only shoot the boss for a short time. If the boss gets too close he will stop in place and start slamming the ground (can hurt Lara if too close, but she does not loose the grip). Just shimmy a bit to the side and he will stop and walk back to the starting position. This method drags the fight for quite some time, but is otherwise easy doable.
• Both methods work great when going for the 'complete the game using only the pistol' achievement (TR Hard Boiled).

During this fight it's also possible to unlock another achievement: TR Shelley's Encore

To unlock this one: Just drop down from the platform into the lava. The fall time is long enough to hear Lara scream twice.
