In the 3rd level of the game, Lost Valley, you'll have to pass through a T-Rex while exploring a prehistoric canyon.
Simply complete the level without firing even once at the T-Rex (in the remaster, he have a health bar, so you'll know if he ever took damages).
Use the canyon layout and the side paths in the nearby caves to avoid interaction with him as much as possible.

Getting out of the valley was annoying. Trex was way to close in my playthrough.
