After dealing with the time levers/fire area, you'll have to tackle a water bit that involves pulling a lever at the top, going back down to the bottom to pull another lever and then leave the area from the top.
You will see this Gold secret close to the second lever.
Once you know what to do and where to go, it's not too difficult to squeeze in the Gold Secret pickup before/after pulling the second lever. However there isn't much leeway for error so make sure you don't stumble around too much.
